Why a baby shower is more fun than a maternity visit

If you have children, then you also have experience with the phenomenon of baby visits. Of course, you are super proud of your baby and want to show everyone how cute and lovely your little one is, but as cozy and precious as those moments are, it also takes quite a bit of energy to receive all those people at home every time and entertain them with tasty snacks, drinks, and a nice chat.

Sofia Richie thought so too, and that's why she decided to approach it differently. She simply waited a little longer until she had more energy and threw a beautiful baby party instead of receiving everyone separately. This baby party was celebrated just as elaborately as a wedding: long, perfectly decorated tables and large, expensive gifts for the baby. All guests also received a pearl bracelet, and when someone said the word ‘baby’, the bracelet had to be handed over to the conversation partner. The one who collected the most pearl bracelets by the end of the party was the winner. So, home with arms full of pearls!

Baby Eloise was spoiled with a Dior stroller and Dior baby clothes, among other things. For the guests, there was even Eloise merchandise: cute pink sweaters with the baby's name embroidered on them. This is of course quite extravagant, but I think it's a good idea to receive everyone at once and celebrate the baby joy together.
