Why I am switching from Gisou to Moroccanoil

By

Something I get a lot of compliments about in daily life: my hair. And I hardly do anything for it. I blow-dry it when it's wet, and every morning a few drops of hair oil, that's about it. Besides, I always think: if you think my hair is nice, then you don't know Lotte. Because with a colleague like Lotte, you know what really beautiful hair is. Not just long, but always shiny and healthy. If she has any tips regarding hair care, I really hang on her lips. I've talked to her about it before Gisou because my experiences with it have always been good. The idea that the products are honey-based sounds romantic and special, of course. Negin Mirsalehi she also has beautiful hair. Another person I trust when it comes to tips. That's why I've used the entire Gisou routine for about two years: shampoo, conditioner, and that beautiful bottle has been sitting on my sink all that time.

Now I must say, such a beautiful bottle (how chic is that dropper) does cost quite a bit of money. I've always been satisfied with the oil's effectiveness, but it does linger in the back of your mind when you've just paid €77,- for a nice bottle of 100 ml, while your younger sister happily reports that she only has to pay €49,- for a 100 ml bottle of Moroccanoil. When we went on vacation, I couldn't take my Gisou oil with me, it's not really leak-proof. That's why I used her Moroccanoil this summer, and I saw that the result was actually better than I dared to admit. It felt like I had to confess my mistake after two years, and that can be quite annoying sometimes.

No matter how much it pains me to miss the beautiful transparent bottle and that lovely dropper from Gisou on my sink, it's time to switch. I've completely used up my Gisou, every last drop has been sucked out. Now I'm making room for that ugly brown, but practical, bottle of Moroccanoil. I soften the pain of losing my aesthetic sink with the knowledge that Moroccan is going to make me very happy. And my wallet too. With that, I can invest in other hair tips from Lotte.
