Why you MUST see In Vogue ‘90s
And why Linda Evangelista will forever regret that one sentence

Disney+ embraces the fashion world with that delicious documentary about Diane von Furstenberg, but continues to feed our hungry mouths with the most addictive fashion series ever, namely In Vogue ‘90s.
Just for the speakers alone, you actually want to start this series right away. Anna Wintour, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Moss, Grace Coddington, Edward Enninful and so on all share their vision of the ’90s in fashion. How Gwyneth Paltrow's pink dress came about ‘kind of’ accidentally (she wanted a dress from the collection and then Ralph decided to make a dress just for her), the Dior couture dress that Nicole Kidman wore to the Academy Awards designed by John Galliano, the famous quote from Linda Evangelista (“I don’t get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day”) and how the Met Gala became so big. We also hear that Kim Kardashian used to walk Madonna's dogs and in return received the rubber bracelets that Madonna no longer needed. Or about the corset of the Dior dress that Lady Diana decided not to wear at the last minute, which according to John Galliano really freed her from the yoke of the royal house. And of course about the music video for Freedom by George Michael, where none of the models had any idea what seismic shock this clip would bring to their lives. How delightful it is to know that almost the entire styling budget went to the Irish linen sheet that Christy Turlington wore in the clip, while the rest of the clothing pretty much came from the stylist's closet. “My boyfriend’s boots ended up on Naomi’s feet.”
It's a big downpour, in the good sense, of anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories, and it's delightful.
So, shall we watch together tonight?
