Would you imitate this TikTok trend?

A long, long time ago, I was at St. Willibrord College in Goes and had a beautiful classmate: B. When a beauty pageant was held at the local nightclub El Toro, we unanimously agreed on who our entry would be: B. of course. Laughing and without a drop of sweat on her forehead or upper lip, she went through all the stages of the quite professionally looking election. That she shuffled from history to geography and math on the final day, which was held on a Friday, with a head full of curlers, seemed perfectly logical to everyone. If there had been an athlete in the class who had to be wrapped in ice packs in preparation for his hundred-meter sprint, it would have been just as normal as B.'s curlers. I think Mr. Pieters from math must have turned his gaze away in horror when she entered the classroom, but well, he actually did that anyway as soon as we, not exactly the best in his field and therefore not worth looking at, walked into his class. Naturally, B. won the contest by a wide margin and we partied until the early hours. By the way, I wrote about why high school friendships are so special.

This was an incredibly long bridge to the new trend on TikTok. I saw it recently when I was at London airport and saw a girl standing there with dry curlers in her hair. At first, I thought I was dealing with a bachelorette party phenomenon (I'm still recovering from this trend), but no, it was just in the name of beauty and it turned out to be an ‘everyday’ TikTok trend.

The recipe: you go on the plane without makeup and with your hair in rollers. There, you apply a nice nourishing cream and start calmly and extensively with your makeup an hour before landing. When the wheels of the plane are deployed, you pull out the rollers and just look who comes out of the plane looking the most beautiful.

It also seems to be a trend during childbirth (just like orgasming during childbirth, I kid you not). I want photos as proof and I'm curious if friend B. will repeat the curlers.
