6 fall ’25 trends that the it-girls are already embracing

I know, the sparrows are just about to fall off the roof and I'm already talking about autumn. Why don't I want to wait any longer? Autumn 2025 promises to be so fashionable that you'll almost be glad when the first leaf falls from the tree. From new nostalgia to ultimate comfort-but-cool: these are the trends you want to wear even before you order your first pumpkin spice latte.

1. Skinny Flares
Think: your skinny jeans and favorite flared pants in the mix. Perfectly tight on top, with just enough flare to give your legs a Carrie Bradshaw length. The it-girls style it with oversized blazers, knits, and statement bags, and we are more than happy to join them.

2. Polo sweaters
Where we love to wear co-ord sets with a polo and matching wide leg shorts this summer, we will still very much go for the polo collar this fall/winter. The winter edition: the polo sweater. In a knit or striped cotton variant, this is the must-have for your wardrobe. It-girls wear it oversized with a pleated skirt or fitted under a trench. Warm, preppy, and just chic enough for your next 10/10 look.

3. Check print
The check has never really gone away, but this season it’s everywhere again. From oversized check shirts to blazers in Clueless yellow. Bonus points if you dare to wear check on check on check.

4. Flat slipper mules
Slippers in grandpa style, but inspired by your favorite loafers and street style approved. Made of leather, with fluffy lining or in minimalist design: this mule slips on with ease and makes any outfit casually cool. Pair them with wide leg pants or totally on trend with the skinny flares (number 1).

Okay, this one might be a bit daring. It-girls wear them above the knee with loafers + bermuda, or with ballerinas and a mini skirt in Miu Miu style. Too much for you? Then go for a level lower, for example, to your ankle. Because socks are meant to be seen, that’s one thing that’s for sure.

6. The lace edge
Spotted as a lace maxi skirt combined with a T-shirt, as an extra see-through layer over your jeans, cropped tops with a lace trim, and even in collars that make your sweater just that little bit extra chic. It-girls are already mixing lace with denim and leather for that perfect balance between sweet and tough.
