- Canned tuna
- Lemon
- Mayonnaise
- Wasabi
- Vinegar
- Green apple
- Corn
- Frozen peas
- Agave syrup
- Crispy Jalapeño nacho chips
The preparation
It's all very simple! Start by putting the tuna in a large bowl. Add lemon juice. Mix mayonnaise with wasabi until you have a nice, creamy, light green substance. Add some vinegar to the tuna and then add the mayonnaise-wasabi mix. Cut a green apple into small pieces and add that, along with a quarter can of corn, some frozen peas, a splash of agave syrup, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
And here comes the magic trick: take a handful of crispy Jalapeño nacho chips and crumble them in. Mix everything well and your tuna salad is ready!
You can serve the salad on a nice sturdy piece of baguette, but if you want a lighter option, you can make a “boat” from a lettuce leaf and fill it with the tuna salad. This way you have a fresh, healthy lunch or dinner option.
Why this tuna salad is the perfect choice
This tuna salad is the ideal meal for the first day of the week. You probably have almost everything at home. It's quick, easy, and you don't need complicated ingredients. Moreover, it's a perfect balance between tasty, light, and nutritious.
