Electric bike: this is the best according to us

I had been team Gazelle for a while (standard recipe in Zeeland: turn 12, have to go to high school and get a new Gazelle) but my beloved was still a bit uncertain about the electric bike. There was one that scored quite high aesthetically, but everyone had it and everyone complained about it because there was always something. I kept getting on my soapbox and said that when it comes to cycling, and watches I go for a brand that can rely on years of experience and expertise.
He was not convinced yet. Until the Gazelle Cayo. Because it was both extremely handsome and had a bag full of advantages.
Why the Gazelle Cayo is the electric bike you want
The Cayo we chose has a continuously variable transmission hub that automatically shifts gears, the motor is light (less than 2 kilos) and is quiet. You have three support modes: breeze, river, and rocket. And if you literally want a little push in the back, you press the boost function. Accelerating at the traffic light goes so quickly and you glide ahead of the crowd.
Electric bike with smart cockpit and charging function
What is also convenient is that you can click your phone onto the center of the cockpit. Your phone is automatically charged while cycling, and you can easily and safely keep an eye on your Google Maps. You can download the Gazelle app on your phone that tells you everything about the status of your bike and your battery level, for example. But if you, like my beloved, prefer to keep your phone in your pocket, you can also see all the information on the LED display on the bike itself.

Removable battery makes this electric bike extra handy
The battery is removable, but you can also just leave it in and charge it via a cable. But suppose you live somewhere where you can't park your bike in front of the door, then you can remove the battery from the bike with a lock and charge it at home. It weighs 2.3 kilos, so it's reasonably easy to carry if you live on the third floor.
Electric bike with built-in GPS and tracking service
The bike has a built-in GPS system, which you activate with a data subscription from Gazelle. Thanks to the GPS, the location of the bike can always be tracked. If the Cayo unexpectedly moves, you will receive a notification in the Gazelle app. With insurance that you can take out at the dealer, it is possible to call on a professional tracking service that uses technology to return your bike after theft.
Service for your electric bike within reach
What I also like about Gazelle; there are 700 service points in the Netherlands. So if your bike needs maintenance, you can always go somewhere.
Ride into the new year healthy
So if you want to start the new year healthy, then your first step has been taken with this.
