Human trafficking, abuse and assault: Diddy's lawsuit

One of the first things we heard was about the discovery of thousands of bottles of baby oil. Those following the news surrounding Sean Combs were left wondering en masse: what on earth do you do with so much baby oil? We have since received that answer. The monster Diddy, who was a childhood hero to many due to his popular music, has fallen hard from his pedestal due to the horrific allegations against him that all relate to human trafficking, abuse, and mistreatment. Starting today, we can expect new details about the lawsuit against P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs, or whatever you want to call him. The lawsuit officially starts today, after months of preparation.
What exactly is going to happen today in the lawsuit?
The expectation is that we will learn more about the course of the trial at any moment, which is taking place in New York. The expectation is that it started at 9:00 AM New York time, which is 3:00 PM our time. What we do know is that the prosecutors get to go first: four victims of Diddy will take the stand, three of whom will remain anonymous. So there is one person who will appear recognizable in the courtroom, and according to most news outlets, this will likely be Cassie, Sean Combs’ ex-girlfriend. It is now known that Cassie was abused by Diddy, as seen in the leaked video. Cassie is currently heavily pregnant with her third child with her husband Alex. Quite tough, I think, to go through such a stressful process while being on the verge of giving birth. Puff Daddy will not hear his sentence today. The trial will last at least four weeks: the prosecution needs three weeks to present all the evidence, and then Diddy’s defense wants a week to explain why everything being said is incorrect. After that, it will also take several weeks before the verdict is announced.

What sentence hangs over Sean Combs’ head?
If he is found guilty of human trafficking, he will receive a minimum of 15 years. But with all the other charges combined, Diddy will never be released. So far, 120 victims have come forward. Among them are 25 individuals who were minors at the time they were abused by Diddy. These are reports that are separate from the case being heard today, but there are also already 100 lawsuits filed by other victims. At this moment, 224 individuals have come forward as victims of Diddy. This means that the verdict in the case taking place this month is not the end of the story.
What is Diddy being accused of?
Let’s summarize the criminal charges that will be addressed in the coming month:
· Conspiracy to extort
· Human trafficking (prostitution)
· Forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice
In addition to the criminal charges, there are more than 100 civil lawsuits filed against Combs, with allegations dating back to the early 90s. These will need to go to trial at a later date. Some notable cases include:
· Joi Dickerson-Neal (November 2023): claimed that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Combs in 1991, with the incident being filmed.
· Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones (February 2024): accused Combs of sexual abuse and claimed he was forced into sexual acts with hired sex workers.
· Crystal McKinney (March 2024): stated that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Combs in his recording studio in New York in 2003.
· April Lampros (May 2024): accused Combs of prolonged abuse and sexual assault from 1994 to the 2000s.
· Dawn Richard (September 2024): former member of the girl group Danity Kane, accused Combs of sexual abuse and human trafficking.
· Thalia Graves (September 2024): claimed that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Combs and his head of security in 2001.
· Anonymous woman (December 2024): accused Combs and Jay-Z of raping a 13-year-old girl during an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000.
· Anonymous woman (January 2025): claimed that she was sexually abused by Combs at the age of 16 while working as a babysitter in 2000.

So many horrific details are already known, what more could come?
Anyone who has seen the documentary ‘the Fall of Diddy’ will agree with me that the things Diddy did to his victims are truly barbaric. One woman recounted that she was picked up at home by him because her husband was not doing his job well. Before she knew it, she woke up, naked, lying on the pool table in Sean Combs’ house, with her hands tied behind her back. She was then raped by him, and this was also filmed. The bottles of baby oil I mentioned earlier were said to have been used during the so-called ‘freak offs’: private parties where victims were forced into sexual acts under the influence of drugs (such as GHB, ecstasy, and ketamine) and alcohol. The ‘freak offs’ could last for days, and ‘participants’ were given IV fluids afterward to recover from exhaustion and dehydration. By the way, Sean Combs’ lawyer said that Combs might have bought the baby oil in bulk because he has such a large house. As if that is a good explanation for everything that happened with the stuff. There are rumors that various big stars, such as Justin Bieber, Usher, and members of the Kardashian family, were present at Diddy’s parties. Although it is not entirely clear how they might have been involved, many celebrities have publicly distanced themselves from Combs. So we will have to wait for the latest information to come out from the courtroom.
