Jay-Z goes hard on the attack
"This is a huge trauma for Beyoncé"

Jay-Z was sued by a woman, Jane Doe, who claimed to have been raped by him when she was 13 years old. Anyone who thinks the case has now been quietly covered up is mistaken. Because now Jay-Z is hitting back hard.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Jay-Z is suing his accuser. He accuses her of abusing the legal process, malicious prosecution, civil conspiracy, and defamation.
Jay-Z claims that the woman who sued him conspired with her lawyer Tony Buzbee to falsely accuse him of sexual abuse. This allegedly cost Jay-Z $20 million.
Jay-Z states that the defendants were “driven by greed, with total disregard for the truth and the most fundamental principles of human dignity.”
Jay-Z's blackmail letter
According to the court documents, the woman “voluntarily admitted” that her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, “pressured her to continue with the false story against Mr. Carter” – meaning Jay-Z – after a “blackmail letter yielded no financial gain.”
The woman allegedly admitted in the documents that “Buzbee involved Jay-Z.” In other words: Tony Buzbee smelled money, jumped into the case, and encouraged Jane Doe to file multiple charges.
However, according to the woman's lawyer, Tony Buzbee, the situation is different. He claims that people from Jay-Z's team harassed, threatened, and intimidated her for weeks to make her backtrack.
Jay-Z denies everything
Jay-Z has denied the allegations from the start. On February 14, the case that Jane Doe filed against him was officially dismissed “with prejudice.” This means that the case cannot be refiled.
Traumas for Beyoncé
“Today is a victory. The horrific allegations have been dismissed. This civil lawsuit had no value and would never have led anywhere. The fabricated story they created was laughable, were it not for the seriousness of the allegations. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. The traumas that my wife, my children, my loved ones, and I have endured can never be erased.”
Jay-Z continued: “The court must protect victims, OF COURSE, but with the same ethical responsibility, the court must also protect the innocent from unfounded accusations. May the truth prevail, both for victims and for the wrongfully accused.”
Rules apply to Jay-Z as well
Lawyer Buzbee remained steadfast and stated in January to Rolling Stone magazine that he would not be “intimidated or pressured” by Jay-Z's legal team.
“They think that laws and rules do not apply to them. They are completely wrong,” said Buzbee. “They also think they can intimidate victims with legal documents full of lies and half-truths. Again, they are wrong. ... We will present the baselessness of his case to the court, not to the press." To be continued in any case.
