Of Elon Musk's many children, how many can you actually have, but that aside, not everyone says yes and amen to dad in the hope of catching some billions.
One of them, Vivian, wants nothing more to do with her father. It is claimed that this is due to her gender transition (Vivian was previously named Xavier), but nothing is known about Elon Musk's anti-LGBTQ stance. He reportedly referred to her by her new name, Vivian, on X and did not stick to Xavier, as Vivian was previously called. It is quite shocking that Vivian shares on TikTok that she had to read via Threads - a spin-off of Instagram - that her father has had another child. She makes a sort of joke about it along the lines of: if I got paid for every time I heard on social media that I would have another brother or sister...”
From Xavier to Vivian
In 2022, Xavier Musk changed her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson and distanced herself from her father. Xavier, who was previously a boy, transitioned to Vivian and decided not to carry the name “Musk” any longer, which was a clear message that she did not want contact with Elon Musk. She cited their differing values as the reason.
Elon Musk himself has not responded to his daughter's decision, but in interviews, he has indicated that he respects her choices, although he has not hidden his feelings about the loss of contact not hidden. Interestingly, Elon Musk himself also has no contact with his father.
Which mother?
Vivian Jenna Wilson is the daughter of Elon Musk and Justine Musk, a Canadian writer. Justine Musk and Elon Musk married in 2000, but their marriage ended in divorce in 2008. They have five children together, of whom Vivian (formerly Xavier) is one. What I find remarkable is that the daughter no longer wants to carry her father's surname, while his ex-wife - Justine Wilson - still retains his surname.
Justine Musk (maiden name Wilson) became known for her work as an author, primarily in the genre of fantasy and science fiction. For example, she wrote the novel BloodAngel. She also wrote about her marriage to Elon Musk, in which she described ‘the challenges’ of their relationship. It seems that she maintains a strong relationship with her children. That seems pleasant for the children, considering they have a father who has nine other children and wants to run the whole world and a few planets in the meantime.
