Look of the Day - Peggy and May

Look of the day May-Britt Peggy

When Peggy and I go ‘potting’, as we call the recordings of our podcast , we do think about our outfit. Usually, we unconsciously wear something that fits the content of the conversation. This time we discussed the holidays and what you could wear.

The red sweater is a must

Peggy swears by red this winter, especially the red sweater. She bought this lovely piece (the sweater, Peggy herself is of course lovely too) at the Moïse store of the brand Rohe. The checked blouse she wears underneath is of course spot on, as checks are totally on-trend this season. This trendsetter bought it a while ago and also ‘somewhere in a boutique in Italy’, so I can't point you exactly where to go. But really, every Zara or H&M has a nice check in stock. Since Peggy's loafers were good for many things, but especially for painful feet, she bought these boots (also at Prada in the PC). The bag is a classic from Hermès.

This turtleneck legitimizes doing nothing

I think your Christmas outfit should also be a bit comfortable, and I got very greedy from this top from Ou Boutique. It's a soft turtleneck with a nice accent on the sleeve, which gives the whole a festive touch. It immediately excuses you from whipping the cream and doing the dishes, because that obviously doesn't work with a sleeve like this. Nice advantage. I bought the pants a while ago from my friends at Pauw Amsterdam and I think it's a classic. It has a soft pleat and the fabric falls nicely. The belt is from Chloé for a touch of cheerfulness, that belt gives a zip-off pants a pleasant cachet. Ballerinas underneath that I bought at Repetto in Paris. Let that be the motto of these days: Make sure there is always ‘something’ from Paris woven into your outfit, then it just can't go wrong.
Oh, and my bag is also from Chloé, a lovely piece in which I carry my life (iPad, makeup, and headphones).
Have a nice day,
May
