Why everyone wants to have this Prada mascara

When you think of Prada, Louis Vuitton, Hermès or Chanel and all the other high-end luxury brands, you know one thing for sure: there’s a price tag attached. For example, Louis Vuitton just launched a beauty line and you pay around 140 euros for a bright red lipstick (ouch), or at Hermès a modest 72 euros. The mascaras in these collections suddenly seem somewhat reasonable. Okay, compared to our favorite Max Factor variant, it’s still pricey, but hey: sometimes you just want to treat yourself to something luxurious. Which doesn’t mean it’s necessarily better, let’s be honest.

Why this particular Prada mascara?
The Prada Mascara, the very first from Prada Beauty, has been available since the beginning of this year and features a brush that demands quite a bit of attention, especially if you’re used to the classic thick round shape. It somewhat resembles a toothbrush, but with a subtle black Prada logo on the flat side — and we absolutely love it. If they had made the logo silver or gold, you would always have it in sight while applying, which would lead to plenty of beautiful Instagram photos or TikTok videos. A little tip for Prada.
But it’s not just about the design. The specially designed “180° Lift & Grip” brush has nylon bristles on one side, ensuring that every lash from root to tip is well coated. Thanks to the shape of the brush, you can already apply an intense black layer from the base, which stays put for a long time, makes your lashes look fuller, and thanks to the moisturizing ingredients, also healthier. So leave that lash comb behind, this is an all-in-one.
@thelipsticklesbians Beauty queens, @pradabeauty’s mascara is one I completely lost track of during our renovation chaos..boxes everywhere, products disappearing, you know how it goes 😅 But after four months, I finally found her again! And what always stood out to me from the start was the wand. My product developer brain clocked immediately that she’s shaped a little differently than the classic wire brushes we’re all used to. So yes, I’m late to the party but I wanted to get her back on my lashes and really show why so many people love this mascara. You can get right up to the lash line, comb through evenly, and the wand holds a lot of bulk without getting messy. To me, she’s definitely unique and worth it even though price point is higher, but what’s your take? Have you tried this yet? Is it worth the money?
Let’s be realistic: you can get great mascaras for ten euros. But that’s not the point. You buy this mascara because you’re in the mood for a pampering moment, especially when it’s under the tree with a sparkling ribbon around it. And because it feels like you have a little bit of Prada in your hands, without having to raid your entire savings account. The price of the Prada Mascara is around €40, but it’s now available here at a discount. That may not be an impulse buy for everyone, but it’s certainly not an outrageous amount for a luxury mascara that looks amazing. Perfect as a pampering moment for yourself or as a beauty gift under the tree. Hint, hint.
