Brilliant: this is how you can wear that evening dress during the day

Credit where credit is due: this tip comes from my colleagues at ELLE. This morning, just waking up and postponing the moment of getting up, I was still scrolling through Instagram in bed. And suddenly I saw at the colleagues of ELLE the tip that immediately inspired me for today's outfit.

Because I had – and you probably have one too – such a delicious slip dress that has been waiting for an outing for months, maybe even a year. Mine was too dressed up for one occasion, too cold for another event. So it happened that this lovely dress was just lying there gathering dust. But, of course, I could have thought of it myself (but I didn't): combine it with an oversized sweater, in my case a sweater dress from Dries van Noten, and chunky boots from Dior. But it can of course also be from a slightly less showy label.

Other options:

Wear a long-sleeved T-shirt underneath
Combine your slip dress with a boyfriend blazer and flat boots
Put a T-shirt over your short slip dress, an oversized jacket over it and you're done
Sexy, comfortable, and very casually chic.

My dress was happy to be rid of that annoying dry cleaning tag and could finally go out for a day again.
