These Action items are real ZARA HOME dupes

That we love shopping at ZARA HOME, is no secret. If there’s one thing I enjoy, it’s wandering around in this store. It feels like a perfectly curated oasis with the cutest little home decor items that you secretly always want to have. Even if you never thought you’d want a candle that smells like basil, you want it now. Yes. I want to have everything, but to stuff my entire shopping cart full of items? My student wallet can’t handle that. Luckily for me, and I secretly think for you too, has Action suddenly all these dupes that look almost exactly like those from ZARA HOME appear. From glass jars for your olive oil to elegant cutlery: these items you want to grab while you still can.
1. Wooden oil and vinegar set (€4.99 instead of €39.99)
Olive oil is one of those ingredients you use almost every day, but to leave a bottle of Jumbo’s own brand on your countertop? That doesn’t fit the aesthetic Pinterest image I want to project with my kitchen. A glass bottle that looks like you scored it at some flea market in Paris fits that image much better. That’s why I fell head over heels for this one. With that beautiful round bottle and wooden cork. It’s handy and it looks nice. And with that stand, you don’t need any extra decor pieces. You can just place this in a corner on your countertop and you’re fashionable. But €40? That can be better.
2. Ribbed carafe (€2.99 instead of €22.99)
You can always use a carafe. In the summer, you fill it with water and all kinds of fruit to have a nice refreshing drink, and in the winter, you can still use it well. To store sangria or another winter cocktail. Decorate the bottle with beautiful twigs, berries, and other autumn or Christmas items and you have a new eye-catcher for your next dinner. Or you just fill it with water. That’s fine too. And just because you can do a lot with it doesn’t mean you have to pay €22.99 for it. Action has one with the same ribbed glass and a wooden lid. Only twenty euros cheaper.
3. Iron ice glasses (€2.49 instead of €12.99 each)
You can also find these iron ice glasses (ironically) cheaper at Action. I could already picture it: a perfectly set table with burgundy placemats, green plates, and these glasses. First to drink cocktails from – because why not? – and later to serve dessert in. My Christmas dinner is already planned, but to spend more than sixty euros on six glasses? Don’t call me. You can get almost the same look at our favorite budget store for €2.49 per glass. That sounds better.
4. Marble mortar (€5.95 instead of €39.99)
A mortar, you know, the fancy name for a pestle, is usually quite expensive. After dreaming about this burgundy, marble mortar from H&M HOME, my eye fell on this white one from ZARA HOME. It’s a bit cheaper, but still quite pricey. Now you can see it coming: Action has a doppelganger. You don’t get the white, marble mortar here for €39.99, but for a mere €5.95. If that doesn’t convince you to grab these dupes, then I don’t know what will.
5. Storage jar (€1.99 and €2.99 instead of €19.99)
You can never have enough storage jars. You can really do anything with them. Fill them with any type of pasta and rice your heart desires or put leftover chips in them so your pantry isn’t filled with half-open bags. They are handy items and if you can also get them in a nice design, that makes everything better. At least for me. I love it when your ‘pantry’ has all the same beautiful jars. That you then crown with a homemade label as a pasta holder and give guests the idea that you are super organized. And yet I wouldn’t spend twenty euros per jar and would rather go for these from Action. They look the same and it hurts a lot less if this falls into a thousand pieces because you just didn’t place it properly on the edge. Just like at ZARA HOME, you can buy different sizes here.
6. Cutlery set with wood (€7.99 instead of €29.99)
Do you not find beautiful cutlery important? Then I don’t understand you. Look, I know that you poke at every piece of vegetable with this and then toss it in the dishwasher, but the eye wants something too, right? And because it might get a scratch here and there in the dishwasher, you probably feel better about it if it only costs €7.99 instead of €29.99. Exactly.
So. Have we convinced you to run to the nearest Action? No? Then we have one last trump card: a dinnerware set that suspiciously looks like that of Serax. How expensive it is you can read here.
