How amazing is the new collection from Baobab

Baobab collection launches a new collection that is even better and more beautiful than I expected, and the bar was already set high. If there's anything that can make me happy and joyful, it's a scented candle. It's simply my favorite gift, to give and even more to receive. I often take one with me when I go out to eat, much more fun than a bouquet of flowers (you can buy the most beautiful artificial flowers here, by the way). Your host or hostess probably already bought that to make things cozy, and a bouquet lasts a lot less long than a beautiful scented candle.

The Hermès of scented candles, that's Baobab collection. Interestingly, Hermès itself also has Baobab collection candles in their boutiques. They are not only beautiful to look at, the scent is exceptionally refined and pronounced at the same time, and the design always refers to a larger story. From today, the new Fall Winter 2026 collection is in stores and I will take you through the offerings.

The theme of this season is clear: the wild west. Baobab collection is inspired by a majestic and untamed America, fueled by iconic film images where Native American landscapes, fringed trapper jackets, tribal ceremonies, and wooden cabins deep in pine forests come together. Each collection is a fragment of that journey.

Eagle’s Pride: a tribute to Native American symbolism

With Eagle’s Pride, Baobab collection presents a limited edition that revolves entirely around handmade ceramics. Among Native American peoples, an eagle feather is never just a piece of jewelry, it is a sign of courage, a mark of respect, and a spiritual symbol reserved for brave deeds. Baobab translates that ceremonial meaning into sculpted ceramics with a pronounced decorative power.

Each candle features a stylized headdress in relief, as if it has been carved into the material. Thus, the candle becomes a contemporary totem, more a statement than a utility item, with names that refer to great tribal leaders.

Crazy Horse

Crazy Horse is enveloped in a subtly glossy mineral gray glaze, reminiscent of pumice stone. That understated color beautifully highlights the relief of the headdress: sober yet graphically strong. Inside, the candle reveals a matte white glaze. The scent combines sea salt, papyrus flower, and moss into a light floral accord with a hint of moist freshness.

Far West: a cinematic ode to the wild west

With Far West, Baobab collection captures the entire visual mythology of the contemporary American west in one collection. The hand-applied 24-karat gold screen print is directly inspired by the imagery of the series Yellowstone: monumental ranches, golden plains, blue-tinted mountains, weathered leather, smoked wood, amber light, and untamed horses.

The glass transforms into a landscape. In the precious, colorful screen print, silhouettes of horses and bison appear, tall grass waving in the wind, and that feeling of infinite space that defines the grandeur of the modern western. The candle and the matching 500 ml scent diffuser are a tribute to the great estates of the west, to their rustic elegance. The aromatic-woody scent, with cedar leaf, vetiver, and bison grass, reveals a completely new olfactory signature.

Calamity Jane: the spirit of pioneer women

Calamity Jane is a mythical figure from the conquest of the west and embodies an untamed, free, and adventurous femininity. Horse rider, explorer, and sharpshooter, wilder than worldly, instinctive rather than obedient. Baobab collection brings her a collection with a strong character, wrapped in leather with long fringes that immediately evoke trapper jackets and the worn saddles of solitary riders. Material becomes decor here, and each candle feels like an expedition accessory, returned from the great outdoors.

The Plains

The Plains stands out with its soft, mineral taupe leather, inspired by endless, dusty landscapes swept by the wind. The fringed silhouette evokes the raw simplicity of open horizons where earth and sky merge. The scent combines eucalyptus, bergamot, and myrrh into an almost desert-like breath, fresh yet mysterious.

Storm Rider

Storm Rider, her horse, combines dark brown fringed leather with a textured base reminiscent of the spotted coat of wild horses galloping through a storm. The scent of Deadwood, patchouli, tonka bean, and coriander takes on an equestrian, smokier, and more adventurous interpretation here.

Deadwood

Deadwood, her town, was a mythical town from the gold rush era, the town of Calamity and Wild Bill. This candle shows a deeper, denser tobacco brown shade, almost chocolate-like, with a leather casing with long fringes. The scent of patchouli, tonka bean, and coriander develops a woody, spicy trail: seductive, enveloping, and sensual.

Wild Bill

Wild Bill, her loyal companion, is wrapped in deep cognac-colored leather, warm and sun-drenched, as if weathered by time and endless rides. The scent combines incense, cedarwood, and amber into an intensely refined accord, inspired by saloons, sun-warmed leather, and a crackling fireplace.

Halona: the harmony of five worlds

Halona means “happy and peaceful place” in the language of Native Americans. The name is rooted in the philosophy of Hozho, a spiritual vision of existence that celebrates harmony between humanity, nature, and the universe. Baobab translates that pursuit of balance into hand-blown glass with irregular transparency and mineral-like accents, as if color has descended onto the surface with the wind.

Yellow World

Yellow World captures the color of sun-warmed canyons, golden rocks, and dry grass bending in the wind. The hand-blown glass, interspersed with amber and saffron hues, looks weathered by time. The scent of nutmeg, chestnut, and cedarwood unfolds in a composition of direct warmth, like a glowing mountain hut in the heart of winter.

White World

White World is a fresh breath. The almost frosted decor evokes the whiteness of salt flats, dust carried by the wind, and the bright light of a winter morning over endless landscapes.
