This butter yellow lamp from ZARA HOME is one you want to put on your table immediately

Hello, hello. The ZARA HOME is back: after a summer tableware that gives you the feeling of being in the south of France and a dog bathrobe that everyone wants to have, the retail chain has something nice again. They have a small side lamp that fits into any interior. With its butter yellow color, it gives your home a vintage touch like you see on Pinterest. How it looks and (very importantly) how much it costs, you can read here.

Vintage look for a cheaper price

Look, you can always score a cheap gem at the thrift store, but for a nice vintage lamp, you quickly pay more than for an average trip to the cinema. That lived-in atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re stepping into a house that has been featured in Architectural Digest three times, doesn’t come cheap. Luckily for us, ZARA HOME now has a solution for that. This amazing butter yellow lamp gives you exactly that vibe, without you having to shell out hundreds of euros. And actually, you wouldn’t want to do that for such a small thing anyway. This little lamp now costs you (only) €49.99.

That butter yellow goes with everything

The beauty of this lamp is that the color actually goes with everything. Although butter yellow is a color that has been high on the trend list for a while, it may not be a color that everyone immediately goes for. A black, brown, or white lamp fits better with everything. Right? Well, you might think so, but it’s actually this color that matches everything as if it’s a camouflaging chameleon. First of all, it’s not a bright honey yellow that lights up your living room like a neon sign. The light shade is just subtle enough to brighten up your home without drawing all the attention. This makes it look nice with almost any color: a dark brown wall, burgundy wallpaper, green carpet, and yes, even your black leather sofa. And with the wooden base, there’s also a neutral element that makes the lamp even easier to combine.

How to style the butter yellow lamp from ZARA HOME

This yellow lamp actually has a perfect size. Because of its size, you can place it anywhere: you can use it as a night lamp or as a statement piece in your bookshelf. Now, we are not interior stylists, at least not by profession, but if it were up to us, we would style the lamp like this:

1. On top of a stack of books

You can choose to place it in the hallway or on your sideboard, but you can also do something different and put it on a stack of books. These don’t have to be old books that you use as a table (which can be nice, by the way). The easiest styling trick is to lay a few books on a table of your choice and place the lamp on top. The books then become the decorative piece that the lamp fits with.

2. ‘Just’ on your nightstand

Or you can use it as a night lamp. That’s also an option. I personally think it’s great for that. You can dim it with one tap on the top from very bright light to a comfortable, warm glow that is ideal for reading. Even if you don’t devour books, it fits on any nightstand. It’s also super handy to find your plug when it has fallen under your bed again, or if you want to read a shocking news update without putting your phone screen on blinding mode.

3. As a statement piece in the bookshelf

As I just mentioned, this wireless lamp is also cool to use as a statement piece. This can be anywhere, but personally, I find it beautiful in a bookshelf. A well-styled shelf can use items that break up the space. That can be a figurine or photo frame, but a lamp is just a bit different from yet another souvenir. It’s exactly what takes your bookshelf from an “Oh, nice” to a “Wow, how beautiful!”.

4. In that awkward little corner where it actually fits perfectly

Everyone has a certain corner where you just don’t know what fits in. An awkward corner on your windowsill, a bend in your kitchen island, or a small window above your sofa. What on earth are you going to put there? And please don’t start with scented sticks, because you probably have enough of those already. This little thing is big enough to brighten up the room, without you trying to shove a too big lamp in between somewhere.

So. Are you still looking for a lamp for a stupid corner where you really don’t want to put another souvenir from that one vacation to Thailand? Or are you always easy to please with a cute lamp? Then I recommend this one. It’s cute, fits everywhere, and that color makes everyone happy, right? Exactly.
