MAFS Australia 2026: which couples are still together?

End of an MAFS 2026 era. I really feel like I'm falling into a gap. Because Married at First Sight Australia 2026 is officially over.

MAFS Australia 2026 was once again a season full of drama, awkward moments, and unexpected twists.

And then there is actually only one question left: which couples are really still together?

Because, as with every season, the participants started the experiment full of good intentions, but by now I know: reaching the finish line does not mean that you will actually stay together in the real world.

But, this is the current status of the couples from MAFS Australia 2026.

Stella & Filip

This is the love story of MAFS 2026 (the Jules & Cameron of 2026). Stella and Filip managed to build a strong bond from the start and remained remarkably stable throughout the experiment. With one exception, you really saw the love blossom. And Stella was immediately my absolute number 1. So sweet, so calm (ridiculous arguments where she held her ground and didn't get dragged into all that hysteria)

During the final vows, Stella & Filip chose each other with full conviction, and that was not just a momentary decision. In fact: the two are still together and even officially engaged now.

Rachel & Steven

During the final vows, it really seemed like everything was going in the right direction for Rachel and Steven. And I really wished them this. They chose each other and gave their relationship a chance outside the experiment.

But, it soon became clear that the differences were greater than they had thought. Communication remained difficult, and they were not on the same page when it came to humor and boundaries. See here the unseen footage of Steven's humor during the couple's weekend.

By now, the two have broken up, but I also read that Stevo regretted it.

Alissa & David

They started off so well, but behind closed doors, perhaps also had a relationship with some ups and downs. I really thought they found each other, but doubt crept in for Alissa. While I really think David is an incredibly fun, sweet, and reliable man.

And yet, during the final vows, it came to a breaking point, and they decided not to continue together. There has been no change in that after the program.

Conclusion: definitely broken up.

Bec & Danny

Well, they are really one of the most talked-about couples of the season. What a peculiar couple. Bec wanted it so badly, Danny really did not at all. The arguments and accusations often escalated, and that also came to a head during the final vows.

Where Bec still seemed open to a future together, Danny completely pulled the plug.

Even after the experiment, they did not get back together.

There sits Bec, without a partner and without a job.

Gia & Scott

Rarely have I encountered such a terrible participant as Gia. Mean, sneaky, and so vulgar. The relationship with Scott was actually under pressure from the start. Gia primarily wanted a man with a lot of money, so he could support her and her daughter. There were discussions, misunderstandings between them, and that made it never really stable.

They did not complete the experiment together.

Gia and Scott have broken up.

The final score

As is often the case with Married at First Sight Australia, this season also shows that finding true love within the experiment is more of an exception than a rule.

Of all the couples, it seems that only one really stands the test of time. But they are also truly the most fun and sweetest.

Okay, this will be another year of waiting. Already looking forward to next year.
