MAFS Australia 2026 reunion: all the drama and arguments in a row

Today there are not one, but two episodes of MAFS Australia 2026 on Videoland: first the reunion dinner and then The Final, or in other words: the very last commitment ceremonies of this year. These might have been the most uncomfortable episodes ever. Group chats, arguments, leaked messages, mean girls, and men walking away from the table.
The MAFS Australia 2026 reunion dinner party started off awkwardly
Almost all participants came together again for the traditional MAFS reunion dinner party, which was recorded four weeks after the Final Vows. Only Brook and Chris were absent. Brook decided not to return because she had just discovered she was pregnant. How ironic, because that means she must have been pregnant during the recordings... but by whom?
In the end, there were only two couples left who wanted to continue together. Of course, Stella and Filip. Truly the most fun and sweetest couple of the season. They even got engaged during the Final Vows, which was just incredibly nice to see.
Then there were Rachel and Steven. That all went just a little less smoothly. In the preview, we saw Rachel arriving alone at the dinner. She sadly told that Steven had come to Melbourne a week earlier to say that he could not be the man she deserved. Ouch...
MAFS Rachel & Steven: from hope to complete heartbreak
Rachel admitted during the drinks that she was still heartbroken from the break-up. When Steven arrived and wanted to sit with her, he suddenly said that although he no longer wore his wedding ring, he did have it with him. He then put the ring back on right there and said that it wasn't over for him either.
This gave Rachel rightful hope.
But a day later, during the commitment ceremony of the MAFS Australia 2026 reunion, expert John finally pulled the truth out of Steven. He didn't want to continue with Rachel after all. He should have said that right away, weakling Steven. He just kept her hanging because he was too afraid to be honest.
By the way, I found Rachel to be very emotional throughout the program. A sweet woman, but quite heavy-handed. It's really a shame that it ultimately didn't work out.
Tyson immediately caused chaos during the MAFS reunion

He was just stirring the pot during the dinner. Especially around Danny, Steph, and Bec. It turned out that Steph and Danny had still been in contact via messages after the experiment. So what? But of course, Bec immediately seized that with both hands to create complete chaos.
The drama was real. She almost pulled Danny over the table again. Too embarrassing for words.

And yes: the biggest drama of the evening revolved around Bec again.
Before the reunion, Steph honestly told Bec that she and Danny had been in contact after the experiment. Steph even showed their entire message thread, including a vacation photo from Hamilton Island in a bikini.
Steph emphasized several times that it was purely platonic, but Bec once again completely lost it. She called Danny and Steph among other things a “dog” and a “sl-t”, while the rest of the table looked on in shock.
Danny was completely done with it and angrily walked away from the dinner party.
The backstage argument between Danny and Steph that was not aired
But apparently that wasn't even the worst part.
According to insiders, Danny went even harder backstage against Steph after he walked away. He accused her of deliberately creating drama for more screen time and reportedly said:
“You got what you wanted. You’re blocked.”
And yes: then he actually blocked her.
Fans now think that production deliberately saved part of that backstage argument for the unseen footage specials of the MAFS Australia 2026 reunion. I'm going to look for these online episodes right away, you understand. The end turns out not to be the end at all...
MAFS Alissa and David completely tore each other apart
For a moment, I seriously thought that Alissa and David would be the dream couple of the season. Well... absolutely not.
Alissa still seemed to expect apologies from David during the reunion, but David rightly had no need for that at all. When she started talking about his disrespectful behavior during the Final Vows, he finally decided to speak up.
According to David, Alissa constantly criticized him during the experiment. He wasn't spontaneous enough, not bubbly enough, and not energetic enough.
In other words: the man literally couldn't even breathe properly. Go go go David. Take your time.

During the last commitment ceremony, Mel and Alessandra spoke out harshly about the lack of sisterhood this season.
And rightly so.
This year, MAFS Australia was much less about love and much more about: arguments arguments arguments. Pure gossip and alliances, rumors and instigation.
The experts then showed a brilliant compilation of all the intense moments of the season. Especially Gia and Bec came out extremely poorly. Gia even looked shocked at the footage and said she didn't realize how intense her behavior had actually been. Ehhh... moment to take a look in the mirror, huh Gia.
Because sorry, but Gia was really one big mean girl of the highest order.

Interestingly, Gia eventually admitted that she and Bec constantly instigated each other.
“Bec and I were probably the biggest instigators of drama.”

Juliette suddenly disappeared completely into the background
By the way, interesting: we barely saw Juliette during the reunion.
Upon entering the dinner, she was there for a moment, but then she seemed to be completely cut from the edit. She wasn't even there at the final ceremony. I think production just didn't want to give her any more attention. Bye bye Juliette. See you never.
Danny ultimately did not return to the MAFS reunion
He indicated it the night before during dinner, but Danny ultimately did not appear at the closing part of the final ceremony. He was completely done with the program.
Bec was ultimately left alone during the last confrontations with the experts, who confronted her with a compilation of everything Danny had said behind her back. Very painful. Because Bec insisted until the final vows that they were getting stronger together. Bec really needs to work on herself. Because as she ultimately concluded: he was just not into me.

She regularly attended parties at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion and was thus working on a career in entertainment. Well Gia, you have your career in entertainment. But whether this is what you wanted. Not really a good example for your little daughter, I think.

Julia quickly made her relationship with musician Sasha Millar public after the show.
Brook
Brook turned out to be back together with her ex Harry after MAFS. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE! And immediately after that, the two announced that they are expecting a child and are engaged. There were already rumors that she flew back to the Gold Coast on weekends during the filming to see her ex.

Previous seasons revolved around secret affairs and partner swaps, but MAFS Australia 2026 was actually mainly about toxic arguments and absolutely no sisterhood group dynamics. Mean girls, that was mainly what 2026 was about.
