Luckily for you and me, Kruidvat has something that looks very much like it: the Hydrate & Prepare Milky Toner from MCoBeauty. It only costs € 9.99 and it’s almost just as good. You want that, right?
Is the milky toner from MCoBeauty a dupe of Rhode?
Look at the bottle, the milky content, and the idea behind the product, and you immediately understand why we thought of Rhode. Both products are used after cleansing your face, before you continue with the rest of your skincare. They are meant to hydrate your skin and give that desired glazed glow. MCoBeauty officially doesn’t call its version glazing milk, but a milky toner. That name might sound a bit less Hailey Bieber, but the idea is clear. The company even admits that it tried to emulate the product.

The ingredient lists definitely overlap: both products contain ceramides and glycerin, among other things. The formulas are just not identical, so we can’t promise that they will feel exactly the same on your skin. For that, they really both need to be tried on our faces.

Does it give you exactly the same Hailey Bieber glow as Rhode? We still need to test that ourselves, but for € 9.99, we’re willing to take that gamble. If we are to believe the online community, then this one is at least almost just as good.
