Apple unveils the MacBook Neo and honestly: you just want this

Sometimes an Apple product comes along that makes you think: okay, I just want to have this.
The new MacBook Neo is small, light, colorful, and finally a lot more accessible.
And that's exactly why it feels less like “tech” and more like something that just moves along with you.
The laptop for real life
Where some laptops feel like “you're going to sit behind this for eight hours”, the MacBook Neo feels like:
I'll just take it with me. In your tote to a coffee shop, on the couch between two appointments,
or in bed at night for a series (with a screen that makes your eyes happy).
I like the colors the most
Apple releases it in four colors (yes, really): blush, citrus, indigo and silver.

Fast enough for your day
The MacBook Neo runs on Apple's A18 Pro chip (the same generation as in the iPhone),
and you can especially feel that in how smooth everything feels. Perfect for writing, emailing, studying,
scrolling, streaming, and organizing your life. Also nice: the 1080p camera for calls
and a battery that Apple claims lasts up to 16 hours on a single charge.
The details that make you happy
- 13-inch Liquid Retina display (bright, sharp, great for long viewing)
- Two USB-C ports + headphone jack
- Magic Keyboard and a large trackpad
When can you buy it?
Apple positions it as an entry-level Mac: ideal if you want a MacBook for the first time, or just looking for a light model that you can take anywhere without hassle.
In the United States, the MacBook Neo starts at $599. The Dutch price has not yet been officially announced, but it is expected to be around €699.
