If there is one color that gives an outfit a bit more oomph in one go, it's red. And no, you don't have to show up in scarlet from head to toe right away. You can, though. Because if we are to believe the fashion crowd, tomato red is one of the biggest trend colors heading into the autumn and winter of 2026-2027.
From basic to très chic, this is how you do it
The secret lies in that little bit. Think of it this way: black pants with a white T-shirt? Always good. Beige coat, jeans, ballerinas? Also. But throw in a red bag, go for a red belt or lace a pair of red laces through your sneakers and suddenly your look of the day looks like you've thought about it much longer. While in reality, you stood in front of your closet for no more than five minutes (winning!).
Small accent, big effect
Present without it screaming immediately. A bit Parisian, nonchalant but above all: très chic. And the nice thing is that red is actually surprisingly easy to combine. This autumn we will mainly see it in combination with dark brown, beige, white, dark blue, gray, army green, cobalt, but also aubergine. Even a completely neutral outfit gets more spice with one red detail.
