This is how expensive these celebrities' weddings were

In Hollywoodland, there is never any cutting back. In fact, that word doesn't even exist there, especially not when a wedding is on the agenda, because then it's the most normal thing in the world to spend a million euros on flowers. Seriously, celebrities literally throw money around to maintain their reputation. But hey, who am I to say anything about it: those people need to spend their money on something, but I still find it astonishing every time.
1. Kim Kardashian & Kanye West
Starting off strong with Kim K and Kanye West. In May 2014, they got married in beautiful Florence, because if you have the money, you obviously get married in a vineyard in Italy. They kept it small by only inviting family and friends, but you can't really call it low-key since the couple spent about 12 million dollars. You would think that Kim would be a bit more careful with her money after her failed million-dollar marriage to Kris Humphries, but that wasn't the case. Just her diamond ring cost Kanye West 8 million dollars.

2. Beyoncé & Jay-Z
With Queen B, you expect nothing less than a mega wedding, but it turned out to be quite manageable. They only had forty guests and got married in 2008 in a penthouse in New York. If you were one of those forty people, you can definitely call yourself a real VIP. Just for the engagement ring and the flowers, they paid 13 million dollars, because the couple insisted on having special white orchids from Thailand. Really bizarre, but luckily they are still together, so that makes up for a lot.

3. Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker
The newlywed couple was so in love that they celebrated it three times in 2022. The third time, they went all out, as all guests were allowed to stay in a Dolce & Gabbana villa in Portofino on the condition that the entire weekend was themed around the brand; it felt like a big PR stunt. The couple probably got almost everything from D&G for free, so my question is how they ended up spending 3.5 million dollars. But hey, it's a Kardashian, so it's ‘go big or go home.’.

4. Brooklyn Beckham & Nicola Peltz
This was certainly a much-discussed wedding due to the special bond between Nicola Peltz and her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham. The couple didn't get married exactly according to the plan Victoria had in mind; instead of the beautiful Puglia, the wedding venue was Nicola's family's estate in Florida. Money is no issue for both families, and so it cost a total of about 3.5 million dollars.

5. Prince Harry & Meghan Markle
We probably all witnessed this wedding on television in 2018, and you already knew it wasn't going to be cheap. Just for security, about 40 million was spent, and Meghan's Givenchy Haute Couture dress also cost around four hundred thousand. That's quite a lot compared to the budget of an average bride on the show Say Yes To The Dress. With all the extra costs, it ended up totaling around 45 million. Let's take a minute of silence to think about how many people you could help with that money.
