You can simply score this Sissy-Boy dupe at Kruidvat

By

So I really love finding bargains. A little browsing on the internet, looking for the best prices, seeing where you can score a bit smarter. And this week I came across something… I want EVERYTHING.

Tip number one: occasionally just scroll through the Kruidvat flyer. Really. This is how I score my laundry detergent for a bargain, spot new snacks, and know exactly when makeup is 1+1 free. Little effort, nice retro, and secretly you also save quite a bit of money.

Kruidvat is normally just that place for the basics for me. Just a quick in and out, grab something and move on. With the well-known slogan still in your head: “Kruidvat, always surprising, always affordable.”.

Flipping through the flyer, I suddenly got stuck on one of the pages. Not at the vitamin C and paracetamol, not at shampoo or conditioner, not at my all-time favorite Maybelline Sky High mascara (tip two;))… but at super cute dishes and accessories. I could really use this surprise now that the sun is shining again: this is just a Sissy-Boy dupe, also known as a lookalike. And that for a bargain.

I am a fan of Sissy-Boy. When I’m in Haarlem with my mother, we always pop in. We both really love that store. Just looking, but you know how it goes… before you know it, you’re at the checkout with more than planned. So when I saw this at Kruidvat, I immediately thought: this has exactly the same great vibe.

Soft pink long drink glasses for €3.99 that you immediately want to drink your homemade iced tea from, dessert plates with prints (4 pieces for €6.99) for everything you put on the table this summer, and those little golden forks and spoons (4 pieces for €3.99) with palm trees that you just can’t leave behind.

And it just keeps going. Tea bag saucers for €2.49, sea green low water glasses for €2.99, candlesticks starting at €3.99, candles to go with it, a pink-orange checkered tablecloth for €9.99… well, you get it. A whole new table setting for the summer days, for really no money.

It’s already in stores, so tip número tres… racing to Kruidvat. I also saw it on TikTok this week and then you know it’s going fast. Do you live in Leiden and soon see someone running a bit too enthusiastically through the city? That’s me.
