5 reasons I’m going to get you to the gym
Our health and fitness editor Jet is hibernating for the entire month of November to cook up a storm. Or in her case, a cookbook. And since she doesn’t want us to go off the deep end when it comes to health, she’s found a couple a cool fit girls to guide us through the month. To kick it off, we’ve got Jenny Alvares, a food, travel and sports blogger. She’s going to be introducing us to her healthy and fit lifestyle.
We all have them; those days that you struggle finding any form of motivation to get you to the gym. Your bed or couch seem to be calling your name and urging you to stay inside rather than head out into the cold. Your snooze button has become your best friend however you made a promise to yourself the day before that you were going to go and work out the following day no matter what. So what to do?
Well that’s where I come in. You’re knight in shining armor cause these 5 reasons are going to have you packing your bag and heading to the gym ASAP.
Reason number one:
Think about how you always feel after you’ve completed a work out. Best feeling in the world! And once you set foot in the gym, everything pretty much goes without saying. Plus you always feel so much better once you’re done. Especially when you weren’t even in the mood to go in the first place. You’ll feel fulfilled.
Reason number two:
Think of your intended end result. You know exactly what it is you want to achieve and you aren’t going to get there when you keep skipping out on gym sessions.
Reason number three:
Posting a gym selfie on social media is always fun. That way you can show the rest of the world you’re sweating your butt off and all the comments and reactions you’ll get will get you even more motivated. And another bonus is that you will be motivating your followers too. You just killed two birds with one stone.
Reason number four:
Progression. The number of pushups you can do this time is going to be more than during your previous gym session. Keep in mind though that this only works if you go regularly; so get off your lazy a*ss and head on over to the gym!
Reason number five:
Are you extremely busy? Dealing with a lot of stress? Use workouts to relieve yourself from the anxiety. It’ll help clear your head and get rid of your frustrations.
What are your reasons for heading to the gym for a good work out?
♥
Jenny
