GET UP OFF YOUR CHAIR A COUPLE TIMES A DAY AND BE ACTIVE

That’s an order!

Although I might be known as the ‘healthiest girl‘ at our Amsterdam office, it doesn’t mean I don’t approve of all the cookies and candy that go around the office on a daily basis. All I do is occasionally steer the crew in the right direction by bringing in some healthy baked goods of my own or I give them ideas and tips for meals for dinner. Seeing as we spend most of our days at work with our asses glued to our chairs, I added something new into the mix to keep the healthy mentality going. I demand everyone to partake in a 7-minute workout every now and then. There are still a couple of lazy sloths in the bunch, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.

So the 7-minute workout. It’s an app that I have on my phone guides you with a bunch of exercises. Sometimes I improvise the exercises because doing crunches on a rock hard floor isn’t too comfortable for example. I’ll make everyone do crunches or an extra round of squats instead. Look, I’m not saying that these 7 minutes will give you a killer bod, but it gets you out of the slump and it also has somewhat of a team building effect. So; take off your shoes, open the 7-minute workout app or just grab a stopwatch and do a different exercise every 30 seconds. Take a 10 second rest after each exercise. Got it?

Seriously, get out of your chair before you turn into a lazy old hag.
