Meghan en Harry nemen afstand van de Royal Family

Je dacht het misschien al wel, alleen geen ziel durfde het hardop te zeggen, maar hier is het bericht dan echt: Meghan Markle en prins Harry maakten zojuist zelf bekend dat ze afstand nemen van hun functie als senior leden van de royal family. Caramba.

De twee delen via Instagram dat het een moeilijke beslissing was waar veel gesprekken aan te pas kwamen, maar de keuze is gemaakt. Ze kondigen aan dat ze streven naar financiële onafhankelijkheid (!), de tijd gaan verdelen tussen de UK en Noord-Amerika en dat ze natuurlijk Her Majesty The Queen blijven ondersteunen waar ze kunnen. De missende foto van Harry, Megs en kleine Archie op het bureau van de Queen bij haar kersttoespraak was dus inderdaad een hint.

En Meghan, ik kan je maar één ding zeggen: de fik in die huidkleurige panty en de ripped jeans weer lekker aan.
