Je ziet tegenwoordig steeds meer make-upproducten, zoals foundation, in stickvorm op de markt komen. Ik moet eerlijk toegeven dat mijn voorkeur daar niet zo naar uitgaat. Noem me ouderwets, maar geef mij maar gewoon een flacon met een pompje of een tube voor mijn foundation. Toch heeft het Anasastia Beverly Hill Beauty Balm Skin Tint serum dat viraal gaat top TikTok, maar ook de ILIA Skin Rewind Complexion stick, mijn mening daarover veranderd. Het gebruik van zo’n stick is namelijk zó gemakkelijk; het enige wat je hoeft te doen is een paar strepen op je gezicht te zetten, die te blenden (het liefst met van je vingers, want door de warmte van je handen gaat dit makkelijker dan met een kwast) en voilà, je bent klaar. Die van Anastasia en ILIA zitten ook nog eens bomvol goede ingrediënten zoals peptiden die je huid verzorgen, waardoor je huid, naast het feit dat je er een lichte glowy (op te bouwen) dekking door krijgt, geëgaliseerd wordt. Ook wordt je huid steviger gemaakt en merk je na langer gebruik eens de benefits van langdurige hydratatie. Eigenlijk kun je een van deze sticks dus ook bijna aan je skincareroutine toevoegen, maar dan met een dun, gewichtloos laagje dekking dat ervoor zorgt dat je écht binnen één minuut klaar bent. Dat is toch fijn als moeder van bijna twee boys onder de twee jaar én met de zomer die eraan komt. Sticks dus. Gemakkelijk aan te brengen, nóg gemakkelijker om mee te nemen.
