Gesund gesund, na ja, darüber lässt sich natürlich streiten. Sport treiben ist natürlich sowieso super gut für dich. Aber wenn man alle Facetten zusammenzählt, sticht eine Sportart mit Abstand hervor — mit Kopf und Ball. Es ist… Padel. Und das ist der Grund. Padel macht unglaublich viel Spaß – und genau damit fängt doch eigentlich alles an. Es ist neben einem guten Workout auch die perfekte soziale Beschäftigung. Seit ein paar Jahren sind so viele Niederländer wie ich Fans von Padel. Letztes Jahr spielten bereits über 350.000 Menschen jeden Monat eine Partie. Das ist ein Wachstum von 18 % in einem Jahr! Und die Plätze schießen genauso schnell aus dem Boden. Weltweit ist es sogar die am schnellsten wachsende Sportart momentan. Aber abgesehen von seiner enormen Beliebtheit ist Padel auch extrem gesund. Wenn man sich die Mischung aus längerem Leben, einem fitten Körper, einem scharfen Geist und sozialem Spaß anschaut, erreicht keine andere Sportart so hohe Werte. 1. Padel macht mega süchtig (und ist sehr niedrigschwellig) Dank des kleineren Spielfelds, der Glaswände und des Unterhandschlags hat man schnell lange Ballwechsel. Und das macht so viel Spaß. Die Technik ist wirklich einfacher als beim Tennis und das Spiel viel dynamischer. Das Allercoolste: Du darfst die hintere Glaswand benutzen. Dadurch fühlt sich Padel wie eine perfekte Mischung aus Tennis und Squash an. Es ist schnell, spielerisch und strategisch. Kein Wunder, dass es scheint, als ob jetzt wirklich jeder padelt. 2. Harte Fakten: Rückschlagsportler leben wirklich länger Mehrere Studien zeigen, dass Menschen, die eine Rückschlagsportart ausüben, eine 47 % geringere Wahrscheinlichkeit haben, frühzeitig zu sterben als Nicht-Sportler. Eine dänische Studie nennt sogar durchschnittlich 9,7 Lebensjahre mehr, für diejenigen, die regelmäßig Tennis, Squash oder Padel spielen. 3. Ganzkörper-Workout ohne Gelenkverschleiß Während der Matches bewegen sich Padelspieler in etwa bei 40–50 % ihrer maximalen Sauerstoffaufnahme und Herzfrequenzzonen, die einer intensiven HIIT-Einheit entsprechen, aber mit weniger Belastung als beim Laufen. Und durch das Spielen auf gedämpftem Kunstrasen ist es viel besser für Verletzungen, und durch das kompaktere Feld ist die Belastung für Knie und Knöchel wirklich viel geringer als bei vielen anderen Ballsportarten. 4. Mega-Workout fürs Gehirn Ja, das konnte ich auch gut gebrauchen. Jeder Ballwechsel verlangt Entscheidungen in Bruchteilen einer Sekunde, Positionierung (einer steht meist hinten, der andere am Netz) und natürlich Kommunikation mit deinem Partner („Nimmst du den Ball oder ich?“). Studien verbinden Rückschlagsportarten deshalb mit besserem Gedächtnis, kognitiver Schärfe und Stressabbau. Padel ist also Schach, Sprint und Smalltalk in einem. 5. Super sozial ist super gesund Padel spielt man zu 99 % im Doppel, wodurch sich dein Bekanntenkreis (und vielleicht später auch dein Freundeskreis) automatisch enorm erweitert. Denn jeder bringt wieder Leute zum Padelspielen mit. WhatsApp-Gruppen wachsen dadurch rasant. Und so wird der soziale Aspekt, die Verbundenheit, zu einem bewiesenen „Blue-Zone-Faktor“ für ein schöneres, geselliges, sozialeres, längeres, sportlicheres und glücklicheres Leben. 6. Vergleich: Padel vs. andere Sportarten Wenn man Padel mit anderen Sportarten vergleicht, sieht man, dass es in Cardio, Muskeltraining, kognitiven Fähigkeiten und Verletzungsrisiko sehr hoch abschneidet. Mehr als zum Beispiel Laufen, Fußball oder Radfahren. Deshalb der Titel „gesündeste Sportart der Welt“. Fazit Also. Worauf wartest du? Wenn ich es kann, kann es wirklich jeder. Dieser Sport macht so viel Spaß, drinnen oder draußen. Der perfekte Ausflug mit Freundinnen oder Partner. Aber auch für jung und alt, es ist wirklich niedrigschwellig. Healthy, healthy, well, that’s of course debatable. Exercising is definitely super good for you. But if you add up all the aspects, one sport really stands out with both head and ball. It is… padel. And here’s why. Padel is incredibly fun – and that’s really where it all starts. Besides being a great workout, it’s also the perfect social activity. For a few years now, so many Dutch people have become fans of padel. Last year, over 350,000 people played a game every month. That’s an 18% growth in one year! And the courts are popping up just as fast. Worldwide, it’s even the fastest-growing sport at the moment. But besides being wildly popular, padel is also extremely healthy. When you look at the mix of longer life, a fit body, a sharp brain, and social fun, no other sport scores this high. 1. Padel is insanely addictive fun (and very accessible) Thanks to the smaller court, the glass walls, and the underhand stroke, you quickly get long rallies. And that’s so much fun. The technique is really simpler than tennis, and the game is much more dynamic. The best part: you are allowed to use the glass back wall. That makes padel feel like a perfect mix of tennis and squash. It’s fast, playful, and strategic. No wonder it seems like everyone is playing padel now. 2. Hard facts: racket sport players really live longer Several studies show that people who play racket sports have a 47% lower chance of premature death compared to non-athletes. A Danish study even mentions an average gain of 9.7 years of life for those who regularly play tennis, squash, or padel. 3. A full-body workout without wrecking your joints During matches, padel players reach about 40-50% of their maximum oxygen uptake and heart rate zones equivalent to a solid HIIT session, but with less impact than running. Also, playing on cushioned artificial turf greatly reduces injuries, and the smaller court means much less strain on your knees and ankles than many other ball sports. 4. Mega workout for your brain Yes, I definitely needed this too. Every ball exchange demands split-second decisions, positioning (one player mostly stays back, the other near the net), and of course communication with your partner (“Will you take this ball or me?”). Research links racket sports to better memory, cognitive sharpness, and stress reduction. Padel is basically chess, sprinting, and social talk all in one. 5. Super social is super healthy You play padel about 99% of the time in doubles, which automatically boosts your social circle (and maybe eventually your circle of friends). Because everyone brings more people for a padel game. Group chats grow rapidly. This social aspect, this connectedness, is a proven ‘blue zone factor’ for a happier, longer, more sociable, fitter, and more joyful life. 6. Comparison: padel vs. other sports Compared to other sports, padel scores high in cardio, muscle training, cognitive benefits, and low injury risk. More than running, football, or cycling, for example. Hence the title ‘healthiest sport in the world.’ Bottom line So. What are you waiting for? If I can do it, really anyone can. This sport is so fun, indoors or outdoors. The perfect outing for friends or couples. And for young and old alike, it’s really accessible.

Dette er verdens sundeste sport Sundt er det selvfølgelig i sig selv, at dyrke sport. Men hvis man samler alle facetterne, er der én sport, der virkelig skiller sig ud: padel. Og her er hvorfor. Padel er utroligt sjovt – og det er jo faktisk det vigtigste. Det er ikke bare en god træning, men også en perfekt social aktivitet. I de sidste par år er så mange danskere blevet vilde med padel. Sidste år spillede over 350.000 mennesker padel hver måned i Danmark – en vækst på 18 % på blot ét år! Banerne skyder også op som paddehatte. Globalt set er padel faktisk den hurtigst voksende sport lige nu. Men ud over at være super populær, er padel også ekstremt sundt. Hvis du kigger på kombinationen af længere levetid, en stærk krop, skarpt sind og social glæde, scorer ingen anden sport højere. 1. Padel er vanedannende sjovt (og meget tilgængeligt) Med den mindre bane, glasvægge og underhåndsslag får du hurtigt lange bolde og rallys. Teknikken er lettere end tennis, og spillet er meget mere dynamisk. Det bedste er, at du må bruge glasvæggen, hvilket gør padel til en perfekt blanding af tennis og squash. Desuden beskytter den dæmpende kunstgræsbane dine led bedre, og den mindre bane betyder mindre pres på knæ og ankler sammenlignet med andre boldsportsgrene. 4. Super træning for hjernen Padel kræver splitsekund beslutninger, positionering (en spiller bagved og en ved nettet) og god kommunikation med din makker (“tager du den, eller gør jeg?”). Studier forbinder racket-sport med bedre hukommelse, øget kognitiv skarphed og stressreduktion. Padel er derfor skak, sprint og socialt samvær på samme tid. 5. Socialt samvær er sundt Padel spilles næsten altid i double, hvilket giver en naturlig social omgangskreds. Folk tager ofte venner med, og gruppechats vokser hurtigt. Det sociale aspekt og fællesskabet er en velkendt “blue zone”-faktor for et længere, lykkeligere og mere aktivt liv. 6. Sammenligning: padel vs. andre sportsgrene Sammenlignet med andre sportsgrene scorer padel højt på kondition, muskelstyrke, kognition og lavt skadesrisiko – højere end for eksempel løb, fodbold eller cykling. Derfor kaldes det den “sundeste sport i verden.” Konklusion Så hvad venter du på? Hvis jeg kan, kan alle. Sedan 2019 är jag helt fast i Married at First Sight Australia. Så mycket att jag verkligen längtar efter det nya året när en ny säsong börjar. MAFS Australia är roligt, vackert, överdådigt och superspännande. Jag är ärligt talat avundsjuk om du tänker nu: “Va? Har aldrig sett det.” Då har du massor av härliga säsonger att binge-titta på. Från säsong 5 ändrades formatet så att de bästa serierna började produceras (tänk altare, fester, familjer, att bo tillsammans, middagar, förpliktelseceremonier och sexråd). För alla som, precis som jag, suttit klistrade framför tv:n som beroende, här är en uppdatering om vilka par som fortfarande är tillsammans idag.

MAFS Australia: paren som klarat sig

Erin & Bryce (S2) Det äldsta MAFS-paret som fortfarande är tillsammans. Tillsammans sedan 2016. Low profile, high love. Erin & Bryce håller medvetet sin relation utanför rampljuset, undviker mycket sociala medier och säger att det hjälper deras framgång. Jules & Cam (S6) Det mest hyllade paret i MAFS historia. De är roliga, söta, vänliga och blygsamma. Alla drömmer om en saga som Jules & Cam. 2019 gifte sig Jules & Cam på riktigt, alltså utan kameror och meddeltagare. 2020 föddes deras första barn, sonen Oliver. 2024 deras andra son Carter. Jules & Cam är beviset på att en MAFS-match inte bara fungerar i en realitysetting — utan också blir verklighet. Kärlek, utveckling, verkligt liv med upp- och nedgångar. Deras berättelse är en av de mest trovärdiga framgångshistorierna i MAFS-universumet. På grund av deras popularitet har Jules & Cam blivit riktiga kändisar. De bjuds ofta in till röda mattan och välgörenhetsevenemang. Jules lanserade sin egen shapewearlinje Figur, med fokus på inkluderande storlekar och kroppspositivitet, och blev ansikte för flera skönhetsmärken, samt samarbetar med märken som Olay. Cam arbetar med sport- och familjemärken och skriver regelbundet krönikor om faderskap och välmående. Martha & Michael (S6) Fortfarande tillsammans, förlovade och med barn. I samma säsong 6 såg vi också Martha & Michael. Martha, som makeup-artist, var kanske lite för trendig för Michael, men man såg deras kärlek växa under säsongen (och åren efter). Michael, tidigare lärare på grundskolan, är nu personlig tränare. 2021 gifte de sig igen och i februari 2023 blev de föräldrar till sonen Lucius. Martha har jobbat på sin karriär med beauty-podcasten Swipe Up, synts i Celebrity Apprentice (2021) och samarbetar med märken som Priceline och Olay. Martha & Michael bor i Bondi Beach, Sydney. Kerry & Johnny (S8) Det näst mest vänliga och roliga paret i MAFS Australia. Snygga, trevliga, mysiga. Deras kärlek lös verkligen igenom skärmen. I juli 2022 gick Johnny ner på knä på riktigt under en båttur i Sydney Harbour, och den 5 januari 2023 var bröllopet i Brisbane. Den 14 juni 2024 föddes deras dotter Chloe Rossi Balbuziente. Tillsammans med hunden Enzo flyttade de till Brisbane. Kerry hyllas för sin äkthet, hon är ärlig och försöker inte bara hålla uppe fasaden. Melissa & Bryce (S8) Gifta sedan 2023 och föräldrar till en tvillingpar. Den här relationen hade ingen kunnat förutse. Han var superklumpig, otrevlig och inte alls taktisk. Snart sa han att Melissa inte var hans typ (under frågerutan). Han ljög om kontakten med sin ex och gaslightade henne till max. Men Melissa stannade kvar. Starkare än så, han friade till henne och de gifte sig igen utan kameror. I oktober 2021 blev de föräldrar till tvillingpojkarna Levi & Tate. Även Melissa delar öppet och ärligt familjelivet på Instagram, om moderskap, kroppspositivitet och balans mellan jobb och familj. Ärligt talat, jag hade inte väntat mig detta. Evelyn & Duncan (S10) Den mest perfekta “couple swap” någonsin. De var inte ihopkopplade med varandra, men verkade vara varandras livs kärlek. Evelyn, alldeles för snygg, matchades med Rupert. Ärligt talat, det fungerade verkligen inte. En stor “nutcracker”, kanske århundradets nutcracker. Duncan matchades med Alyssa, en söt tjej, men inte heller perfekt match. Men efter programmet började något blomstra mellan dessa två charmiga personer. Evelyn & Duncan började som vänner, men efter inspelningen uppstod romantik — och i maj 2023 blev de officiellt ett par. I augusti 2023 flyttade de ihop i Sydney, inklusive Evelyns två taxar (Pickles & Mustard). På Instagram såg jag att de varit på semester i Hongkong och Vietnam. Det jag tycker är allra finast är att Evelyn om deras åldersskillnad sa: “det känns mer som en välsignelse än ett problem”. Lyckligtvis får vi njuta mycket av dem tillsammans: de har en egen framgångsrik podcast där de recapper MAFS Dinner Parties och delar sina härliga och ofiltrerade åsikter om allt drama i MAFS. Jade & Ridge (S11) Jade & Ridge var ett av de två överraskningsparen som började senare i MAFS-säsongen. Men inte utan framgång. Paret är fortfarande lyckliga, trots rykten under programmet att Ridge skulle ha varit otrogen. I maj 2024 flyttade Ridge från Sydney till Gold Coast för att bo med Jade och hennes dotter Victoria (nu 8 år). För mig var detta inte det mest sprakande paret. Men i Australien är de definitivt populära, med 50 000 följare på TikTok där många tittar på deras videos (semester till Bali) och familjeutflykter, vilket visar att deras relation länge inte är ett experiment längre — utan äkta kärlek. Jono & Ellie (S11) Efter experimentet blev de ett par, bor nu tillsammans och är kära. Ingen såg detta komma. Under återföreningen tillkännagav de sin relation. Jag kunde inte tro det. Men än idag är de fortfarande tillsammans. Faktum är att de bor tillsammans på Gold Coast, där de också köpt sitt första hus. De delar mycket av sitt liv på Instagram, där jag ser många semestrar. Billy & Awhina (S12) Först vänner, nu älskare. Officiellt tillsammans. Ahhhhh Billy & Awhina, så himla härligt. Inte officiellt matchade, men nu ihop ändå. Billy matchades med isdrottningen Shierhah, Awhina med Adrian. Men utan framgång. Så kul att de nu funnit varandra. Det började med vänskap, men sedan juni 2025 är de officiellt ett par. På Instagram skrev de: “I’ll keep this one.” Från vänskap till kärlek. Det som är helt fantastiskt är att Billy visar sin relation med sonen Landon. Hejdå Adrian & Shierhah. Elliot & Jamie (S12) Whoop Whoop: Ny romans alert! Elliot & Jamie är nyss ett par. På svensexan tänkte jag verkligen, Jamie gillar jag inte. Vilken högljudd “tokkie”. Men hon visade sig vara en av årets roligaste, ärligaste och mest uppriktiga deltagare. Jamie, som var ihopkopplad med Dave, verkade vara ett drömpar. Men tyvärr vände Dave kappan efter vinden. Elliot matchades med två galningar. Fast jag först trodde det var honom det var fel på, visade han sig senare vara en fin person både på insidan och utsidan. Att dessa två är tillsammans tycker jag är så härligt. Om det är helt officiellt vet jag inte, men för nu tror jag starkt på dem och hoppas att de är tillsammans för alltid.

MAFS Australia: dessa par har gjort slut

Jack & Tori (S11) Sedan mars 2025 slut. Ett speciellt par. Jack är verkligen en ”pain in the neck”. Tori är snäll. Ibland tyckte jag att hon såg ut som Diana när hon tittade uppifrån och ner. Ofta satt jag framför tv:n och tänkte: Spring Tori. Spring. Men nej, hon stannade kvar. Faktum är att hon flyttade till Gold Coast för Jack och bor kvar där. De säger att de inte har bråkat eller drama. De har gått skilda vägar som vänner och är fortfarande sportkompisar.

Desde 2019 estoy completamente enganchada a Married at First Sight Australia. Tanto que espero ansiosamente el nuevo año para que empiece una nueva temporada. MAFS Australia es divertida, bonita, exagerada y súper jugosa. Si ahora piensas: "¿Eh? Nunca lo he visto", sinceramente te envidio un poco. Porque aún tienes un montón de temporadas deliciosas para maratonear. A partir de la temporada 5, el formato se modificó tanto que desde entonces se han hecho las mejores series (piensa en el altar, las fiestas, las familias, convivencias, cenas, ceremonias de compromiso y consejos sexuales). Para todos los que, como yo, están pegados a la pantalla como adictos, aquí va una actualización de todas las parejas que todavía siguen juntas hoy en día.

MAFS Australia: las parejas que lograron mantenerse

Erin & Bryce (T2) La pareja de MAFS más longeva. Juntos desde 2016. Perfil bajo, amor alto. Erin y Bryce mantienen su relación fuera del foco, evitan mucho las redes sociales y afirman que eso ayuda a su éxito. Jules & Cam (T6) Esta es la pareja más aclamada de MAFS hasta la fecha. Son divertidos, cariñosos, amables y humildes. Todos anhelan un cuento de hadas como Jules & Cam. En 2019 se casaron de verdad, sin cámaras ni otros participantes. En 2020 nació su primer hijo, Oliver, y en 2024 su segundo hijo, Carter. Jules & Cam son la prueba de que una pareja hecha en MAFS puede funcionar no solo en el reality, sino en la vida real. Amor, crecimiento y vida auténtica con altibajos. Su historia es uno de los relatos de éxito más creíbles del universo MAFS. Por su popularidad, Jules & Cam se han convertido en verdaderas celebridades. A menudo son invitados a alfombras rojas y eventos benéficos. Jules lanzó su propia línea de shapewear llamada Figur, enfocada en tallas inclusivas y positividad corporal, y es la imagen de varias marcas de belleza, colaborando con marcas como Olay. Pero hasta hoy siguen juntos. Más aún, viven juntos en la Costa Dorada, donde compraron su primera casa. Comparten mucho en Instagram, donde veo muchas vacaciones. Billy & Awhina (T12) Primero amigos, ahora amantes. Oficialmente juntos. ¡Ahhhh Billy & Awhina, qué intenso y bonito! No fueron emparejados oficialmente, pero ahora están juntos. Billy fue emparejado con la “reina del hielo” Shierhah, Awhina con Adrian, pero sin éxito. Qué lindo que se hayan encontrado. Empezó como amistad, pero desde junio de 2025 son oficialmente pareja. En Instagram escribieron: “Me quedo con este.” De amistad a amor. Lo más genial es que Billy muestra su relación con su hijo Landon. Adiós Adrian y Shierhah. Qué persona tan ruidosa y problemática. Pero resultó ser uno de los participantes más simpáticos, honestos y auténticos del año. Jamie, emparejado con Dave, parecía la pareja perfecta, pero Dave cambió de opinión. Elliot fue emparejado con dos personas locas. Aunque al principio pensé que era culpa suya, luego se vio que es una gran persona por dentro y por fuera. Que estos dos estén juntos me encanta. No sé si es oficial, pero por ahora creo mucho en ello y espero que estén juntos para siempre.

MAFS Australia: esta pareja se separó

Jack & Tori (T11) Separados desde marzo de 2025. Pareja especial. Jack es un poco gruñón. Tori es dulce. A veces su mirada me recordaba a Diana, cuando mira de abajo hacia arriba. Muchas veces veía la pantalla y pensaba: Corre Tori, corre. Pero no, ella se quedó. Más aún, se mudó a la Costa Dorada por Jack y sigue viviendo allí. Dicen que no tuvieron peleas ni dramas. Se separaron como amigos y todavía son compañeros de deporte.

Seit 2019 bin ich total süchtig nach „Married at First Sight Australia“. So sehr, dass ich sehnsüchtig auf das neue Jahr warte, bis eine neue Staffel startet. MAFS Australia ist unterhaltsam, schön, übertrieben und mega juicy. Ehrlich gesagt bin ich neidisch, wenn du jetzt denkst: Huch, nie gesehen. Dann hast du einfach noch so viele großartige Staffeln zum Nachholen. Ab Staffel 5 wurde das Format so angepasst, dass seitdem die besten Serien produziert wurden (denk an Altar, Party, Familien, Zusammenwohnen, Dinner, Bindungszeremonien und Sexualberatung). Für alle, die wie ich süchtig vor dem Fernseher kleben, hier ein Update zu allen Paaren, die heute noch zusammen sind.

MAFS Australia: Die Paare, die es geschafft haben

Erin & Bryce (S2) Das am längsten bestehende MAFS-Paar. Seit 2016 zusammen. Low Profile, High Love. Erin & Bryce halten ihre Beziehung bewusst aus dem Rampenlicht, meiden viele soziale Medien und geben an, dass ihnen das beim Erfolg hilft. Jules & Cam (S6) Das berühmteste Paar in der Geschichte von MAFS. Sie sind nett, lieb, freundlich und bescheiden. Jeder wünscht sich ein Märchen wie Jules & Cam. 2019 haben Jules & Cam ganz offiziell geheiratet, ohne Kameras und Mit-Cast-Mitglieder. 2020 kam ihr erstes Kind, Sohn Oliver, und 2024 ihr zweiter Sohn Carter zur Welt. Ihre Liebe sprang förmlich vom Bildschirm. Im Juli 2022 kniete Johnny während einer Bootsfahrt im Sydney Harbour vor ihr nieder, und am 5. Januar 2023 fand die Hochzeit in Brisbane statt. Am 14. Juni 2024 wurde ihre Tochter Chloe Rossi Balbuziente geboren. Zusammen mit Hund Enzo zogen sie nach Brisbane. Kerry wird zu Recht für ihre Authentizität gelobt, sie ist ehrlich und stellt sich nicht. Schon früh sagte er, Melissa sei nicht sein Typ (während der „Frag-Box“). Er log über den Kontakt zu seiner Ex und gaslightete sie extrem. Aber Melissa blieb. Mehr noch, er machte ihr einen Antrag und sie heirateten erneut ohne Kameras. Im Oktober 2021 wurden sie Eltern der Zwillingssöhne Levi & Tate. Auch Melissa teilt offen ihr Familienleben auf Instagram, über Mutterschaft, Body Positivity und die Balance zwischen Arbeit und Familie. Ehrlich gesagt, das hätte ich nicht erwartet. Evelyn & Duncan (S10) Der perfekteste „Couple Swap“ aller Zeiten. Sie wurden nicht aneinander gekoppelt, sind aber offenbar die Liebe ihres Lebens. Evelyn, viel zu hübsch, wurde mit Rupert gematcht – ehrlich gesagt, das ging gar nicht. Was für ein Riesen-Nussknacker, vielleicht der Nussknacker des Jahrhunderts. Duncan wurde mit Alyssa gematcht, einem lieben Mädchen, aber auch nicht die perfekte Match. Doch nach der Show entwickelte sich zwischen diesen beiden tollen Typen etwas. Evelyn & Duncan. Sie begannen als Freunde, aber nach den Dreharbeiten entstand eine Romanze – und im Mai 2023 gingen sie offiziell eine Beziehung ein. Im August 2023 zogen sie gemeinsam in Sydney zusammen, inklusive Evelyns zwei Dackeln (Pickles & Mustard). Auf Instagram sah ich, dass sie nach Hongkong und Vietnam gereist sind. Das Paar ist noch immer glücklich, trotz der Gerüchte während der Show, dass Ridge fremdgegangen sei. Im Mai 2024 zog Ridge von Sydney an die Gold Coast, um bei Jade und ihrer Tochter Victoria (jetzt 8) zu wohnen. Für mich war es nicht das spannendste Paar, aber in Australien sind sie sehr beliebt: Mit 50.000 Followern auf TikTok schauen viele ihre Videos (Urlaub auf Bali) und Familienausflüge, was zeigt, dass ihre Beziehung kein Experiment mehr ist, sondern echte Liebe. Jono & Ellie (S11) Aus dem Experiment wurde ein Paar, jetzt wohnen sie zusammen und sind verliebt. Das hat wirklich niemand erwartet. Während des Reunions gaben sie ihre Beziehung bekannt. Ich konnte es nicht glauben. Aber bis heute sind sie noch zusammen. Mehr noch, sie wohnen zusammen an der Gold Coast, wo sie auch ihr erstes Haus gekauft haben. Sie teilen ihr Leben oft auf Instagram, und ich sehe viele Urlaube vorbeiziehen. Billy & Awhina (S12) Zuerst Freunde, jetzt Liebende. Offiziell zusammen. Ahhhh Billy & Awhina, wie intensiv süß. Nicht offiziell gematcht, aber jetzt doch ein Paar. Billy war mit der „Icequeen“ Shierhah gematcht, Awhina mit Adrian, aber ohne Erfolg. Wie schön, dass sie sich jetzt gefunden haben. Es begann mit Freundschaft, aber seit Juni 2025 sind sie offiziell ein Paar. Auf Instagram schrieben sie: „I’ll keep this one.“ Von Freundschaft zur Liebe. Das Tollste: Billy zeigt seine Bindung zu seinem Sohn Landon. Tschüss Adrian & Shierhah. Elliot & Jamie (S12) Whoop Whoop: Neue Romanze! Elliot & Jamie sind seit Kurzem ein Paar. Beim Junggesellenabschied dachte ich echt, Jamie ist nichts für mich. Was für ein lauter Tölpel. Aber er erwies sich als einer der nettesten, ehrlichsten und aufrichtigsten Teilnehmer des Jahres. Jamie, gematcht mit Dave, schien ein Traumpaar. Doch Dave drehte sich schnell um wie ein Blatt im Wind. Elliot wurde mit zwei Verrückten gematcht. Anfangs dachte ich, das liegt an ihm, doch später zeigte sich, dass er wirklich ein toller Mensch ist – innen und außen. Dass diese beiden zusammen sind, finde ich so toll. Ob es ganz offiziell ist, weiß ich nicht, aber ich hoffe und glaube fest daran, dass sie für immer zusammenbleiben.

Since 2019, I have been completely addicted to Married at First Sight Australia. So much so that I eagerly await the new year for a new season to start. MAFS Australia is fun, beautiful, over the top, and super juicy. I’m genuinely jealous if you’re now thinking: huh, never seen it. Then you have so many amazing seasons to binge-watch. Starting from season 5, the format was adjusted to create the most delightful series (think altar, parties, families, living together, dinners, commitment ceremonies, and sexual advice). For everyone who, like me, was glued to the TV like an addict, here’s an update on all the couples who are still together today. MAFS Australia: The couples who made it Erin & Bryce (S2) The longest-lasting MAFS couple. Together since 2016. Low profile, high love. Erin & Bryce deliberately keep their relationship out of the spotlight, avoid a lot of social media, and say this helps their success. Jules & Cam (S6) This is the most celebrated MAFS couple ever. They are fun, sweet, kind, and humble. Everyone longs for a fairytale like Jules & Cam. In 2019, Jules & Cam got married for real — without cameras and fellow cast members. In 2020, their first child, son Oliver, was born. In 2024, their second son, Carter. Jules & Cam are proof that a MAFS match can work not only in a reality setting but also in real life. Love, growth, truly living with ups and downs. Their story is one of the most believable success stories in the MAFS universe. Due to their popularity, Jules & Cam have become real celebrities. They are often invited to red carpets and charity events. Evelyn & Duncan (S10) The most perfect couple swap ever. They weren’t matched to each other but apparently the love of each other’s lives. Evelyn, way too attractive, was matched with Rupert. Honestly, that really didn’t work. What a massive nutcracker, maybe the nutcracker of the century. Duncan was matched with Alyssa, a sweet girl, but not the perfect match either. But after the show, something blossomed between these two lovely people. Evelyn & Duncan. They started as friends, but after filming, the romance began — and in May 2023, they officially became a couple. In August 2023, they moved in together in Sydney, including Evelyn’s two dachshunds (Pickles & Mustard). On Instagram, I saw they went on vacation to Hong Kong & Vietnam. And this is maybe the sweetest part: about their age difference, Evelyn said, “it feels more like a blessing than an issue.” Luckily, we can still enjoy them together: they have their own successful podcast where they recap MAFS Dinner Parties, giving their wonderfully unfiltered opinions on all the MAFS drama. Jade & Ridge (S11) Jade & Ridge were one of the two surprise couples who joined later in the MAFS season. But not without success. The couple is still happy despite rumors during the show that Ridge cheated. In May 2024, Ridge moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast to live with Jade and her daughter Victoria (now 8 years old). For me, they were not the most sparkling couple. But in Australia, they are certainly popular, with 50k followers on TikTok watching their videos (vacations to Bali) and family outings, showing that their relationship is no longer an experiment — but true love. Jono & Ellie (S11) After the experiment, they became a couple, now living together and in love. Nobody saw this coming. During the reunion, they announced their relationship. I couldn’t believe it. But to this day, they’re still together. In fact, they live together on the Gold Coast, where they bought their first home. MAFS Australia: These Couples Are Still Together in 2025 Since 2019, I’ve been completely addicted to Married at First Sight Australia. So much so that I eagerly await the new year for a new season to start. MAFS Australia is fun, beautiful, over the top, and super juicy. Honestly, I’m jealous if you’re thinking now: huh, never seen it. Then you have so many amazing seasons to binge-watch. Starting from season 5, the format was adjusted so that the best series were made (think altar, parties, families, living together, dinners, commitment ceremonies, and sexual advice). For everyone like me who’s been glued to the TV like an addict, here’s an update on everyone who’s still together today. MAFS Australia: Couples Who Made It Erin & Bryce (S2) The longest-lasting MAFS couple. Together since 2016. Low profile, high love. Erin & Bryce deliberately keep their relationship out of the spotlight, avoid social media a lot, and say this helps their success. Jules & Cam (S6) This is the most celebrated couple in MAFS history. They are nice, sweet, kind, and humble. Everyone longs for a fairytale like Jules & Cam. In 2019, Jules & Cam got married for real — no cameras or co-cast members involved. Their first child, son Oliver, was born in 2020. In 2024, their second son Carter arrived. Jules & Cam are proof that a MAFS match can work not only in a reality setting but also in real life. Love, growth, real life with ups and downs. Their story is one of the most credible success stories in the MAFS universe. Due to their popularity, Jules & Cam have become real celebrities. They are often invited to red carpets and charity events. Jules launched her own shapewear line: Figur, focusing on inclusive sizes and body positivity, became the face of multiple beauty brands, and collaborates with brands like Olay. They are still happy together despite the rumors during the show that Ridge cheated. In May 2024, Ridge moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast to live with Jade and her daughter Victoria (now 8 years old). For me, they weren’t the most sparkling couple, but in Australia, they are definitely popular with 50k followers on TikTok watching their videos (vacations to Bali) and family outings, showing their relationship is no longer an experiment but real love. Jono & Ellie (S11) After the experiment, they became a couple, now living together and in love. Nobody expected this. During the reunion, they announced their relationship. I couldn’t believe it. But to this day, they are still together. They live together on the Gold Coast, where they also bought their first home. They share a lot on Instagram, where I’ve seen many vacations.
