 Morning ritual

“In the shower, I use a face wash from Dr. Alkaitis and for my body, the Invigorate shower gel from COMO Shambhala; this lovely product came my way through a hotel in Bali (Alila Villas Soori). Every time I use this shower gel, I dream back to that wonderful trip through Asia. I wash my hair two to three times a week with products from John Masters Organics. After showering, I follow up with a serum and day and eye cream from La Mer. I also apply SPF30 to my face every morning.”

5 minutes make-up

“I love natural looks, so within 5 minutes I have completed my daily routine: for my eyes, I use the Smokey Eye mascara from Bobbi Brown and a eyeliner from Chanel (the Stylo Yeux Waterproof), for blush I use the Pot Rouge from Bobbi Brown – which is also great for your lips by the way – and a lip gloss. When it comes to lip gloss, I'm not very loyal to a specific brand; I have a number of make-up bags that I keep in my favorite bags, and each bag contains a different brand.”

Eyebrows or lashes

“The full, natural eyebrow – which is currently very hot – I find beautiful. Eyebrows are very defining for your face. Unfortunately, I am not blessed with a Kate Upton or Cara eyebrow, so I fill them in a bit with a brush and focus more on my lashes during the week. The Smokey Eye mascara from Bobbi Brown is my favorite. You only need a few layers for a striking eye look.”

Favorite perfume

“I have several perfumes in my bathroom that I use depending on the occasion and my mood. Favorites are: Bronze Goddess by Estée Lauder, Un Jardin sur le Nil by Hermès, and French Lime Blossom by Jo Malone. By the way, I get the most compliments about the latter.”

Never leave home without

“I have a number of items that are standard in my make-up bags. But if I have to choose, I say: lip balm. From the old school lip butters from The Bodyshop to The Lip Balm from La Mer; I love ‘em all!’

“The most beautiful beauty trend I find is bright red lips. This look radiates both power and sexy femininity. Because I always go for the natural look, I often find bright red lips too intense for myself, but at a party on the other hand…”

“Coconut oil, use it as a hair mask or for dry spots on the skin. In the summer, you can also use it as aftersun. This stuff is incredibly beneficial.’
