7 THINGS YOUR HAIRDRESSER HOPES YOU KNOW TOO

I have really gone through a lot of hairdressers. In the past, we had a 'home hairdresser' and I think she only had one hairstyle in her portfolio because the result was that my sister and I were basically just two copies. Then I had a hairdresser who always cut my hair twenty centimeters shorter than I hoped, and after that, I tried various people. Now I still switch, but I know exactly what I want and I sit somewhat panicked in the chair to keep everything under control. And I sit with people in the chair who don't just cut hair as a hobby, but for whom the profession is a true art.

And now we can want enough, you know. But let's be honest: sometimes we want things that aren't possible. And we don't always take good enough care of it, which means that sometimes something really has to happen with your hair. If we sometimes followed the tips from the hairdressers a bit better, then everything would definitely go a bit smoother in the salon. With these tips, you keep your hair in good condition and leave the house every day as if you've been to the best hairdresser in the world. You happy, hairdresser happy, everyone happy.

Don't wash your hair too often

You can really wash your hair too often and the result is that it becomes soft, limp, and lifeless. Exactly the opposite of what you actually want to achieve. Also nice. Allow your hair to be a little dirty sometimes and play into that. There are plenty of hairstyles that can handle that. After two days, you wash your hair again, and the longer you hold out, the more your hair will get used to it and thus sit better.

Trim it

I understand that you want to let your hair grow as long as possible, but sometimes it's just necessary to cut your hair a few centimeters shorter. This way, your hair can actually grow more and you prevent dead and split ends.

The smaller the comb, the bigger the frizz
If you comb your hair with a comb that has a lot of teeth, the frizz will only get bigger. So opt for a large wooden comb or brush your hair through with your fingers.

Hair ties
Hair ties are tricky things. They can break your hair. Now it's quite strange that I write this with my bun and thus always have a hair tie in my hair, but be careful with too many hair ties. If you do use hair ties, choose cotton variants.

A hairdryer should not touch your hair
A hairdryer blows your hair dry and doesn't wipe it dry. Keep enough distance.

Brush your hair from bottom to top
When it comes to your hair, you shouldn't brush it from top to bottom. It's best to start at the ends to get all the tangles out and then brush upwards.

Colored hair
Colored hair needs different sips. So it's very important to choose the right shampoo and conditioner. Look at what your hair needs, and you'll really see that your hair becomes a lot happier because of it.
