It's a rush or standstill here. Recently, I suddenly had no fittings and shoots for a moment (that actually lasted really just a short while, you know but you know me, I like to stay busy) and then a avalanche of work came in that I had no time for two weeks to catch you up on my life here.

I had test shoots and was booked for all days of Lakme Fashion Week. You shouldn't think that only Fashion Week is busy.

The week before, I was often fitting from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Long days but fortunately in the most beautiful hotel in Bombay where we had the most delicious breakfast and the best lunches. Living there, that is my goal from now on.

Many people ask me what a fitting actually entails. Imagine a room where all pieces of a collection are brought in. Those pieces are fitted on the models and it is checked on the spot whether the item they had in mind for you really looks its best.

So a lot of looks are swapped and pieces are taken to the seamstresses that need to be taken in, for example.

A lot of fitting and a lot of waiting, sometimes I almost fell asleep. But if I could, I still went to the gym after such a long fitting day. For Lakme Fashion Week I wanted to be in top shape namely. How that week was, I will tell you next week.

Bye, Debbie
