FLICKERING AND GLITTERING INTO CHRISTMAS

– these eye palettes are a must-have –

The natural look will never disappear, but with the holidays in sight (ha, nice easy one) a bit of color, shine, and glitter can definitely come out. The eyes can be va-va-voom. Grand and captivating. Now, the most beautiful brands on earth always manage to surprise me with jewels of eyeshadow palettes, but withChristmas the most special collections come to the table, and that creates must-haves that you want to run to the store for right now.

What you see a lot now is the color purple. I understand that you might be shocked, because purple looks nice on the Christmas tree, but it can come off as a bit over the top when you paint it on yourself. But: relax. All that beauty below knows how to combine it in an incredibly beautiful way. No screaming bright purple, but a lovely dark burgundy combined with sparkling gold that makes it extremely chic and sexy. Actually a shame to use, as beautiful as all those colors and palettes are, but hey, the eye wants something too. The seven most beautiful of the moment that make you shine like the little Christmas angel at the table.

1. Yves Saint Laurent

So purple. YSL knows how to go all out and combines no less than three types. Is purple a bit too daring? You can create a smoky look with the dark brown shade that has been added. Do you like daring? You can amp it up with the golden powder.

2. Dior

Dior doesn't beat around the bush; it's all about shine there. Subtly soft for the corners of the eyes and a bit bolder purple for the daredevils.

3. Bobbi Brown

Definitely one of my favorites. I use this palette daily, but the holiday edition just has a bit more shine and glitter in it. To love and cherish, this palette. The natural colors are plentiful, and with them, you can also appear well-groomed, but just with that little extra, at the Christmas lunch. You simply add the glitters and smoky eye after five when the party lasts a bit longer and your boss is already dancing on the desks. Really amazing and definitely usable in the new year.

4. Maybelline

No purple in this palette, but just totally nude, just like the name. Doesn't mean it's boring, though. Most of the nude colors have a lot of significant shine and glitter in them, allowing you to create something very exciting even from a calm-looking look.

5. The Body Shop

Beautiful colors of purple, a refined copper, and a good gold color. Maybe the pigment is a bit less intense, but that doesn't have to be the case, because with this palette you can create an incredibly beautiful eye for a very nice price.

6. Yves Rocher

Five colors with which you can vary infinitely. It all stays either very natural with of course a little glitter here and there through the gold and copper (you go for a smashing smoky with the gray tones) or you spice things up a bit with the sparkling purple color. Actually, you can go in any direction. A versatile palette with beautiful shades.

7. Chanel

Let's conclude with perhaps the most beautiful. Here I actually dare not use a brush, because I would prefer to stare at it all day. But okay, if it has to be done, then it must be done. Purple is the theme here, and Chanel knows how to incorporate that nicely into the palette with the addition of gold. Yes, it's a party, right? And by the way, you really don't get a seventies feeling, but it does become extremely Christmassy.
