Give a girl the right shoe…

And she can conquer the world. Marilyn Monroe could have been such an amazing bestie of mine. Shoes and girls, a golden combination. And what if you also get sushi and home delivery with that? Then I am completely yours.

That happened last week. On Tuesday, I was tempted with freshly made sushi. Lies and Jet had just started a week of detox (too bad) so there was extra for Joss and me. The sender was Omoda, you know, the online shoestore that also has a few ‘real’ stores. In the box were chopsticks that immediately gave you a discount of €50. Of course, I threw them away right away, but Jet personally conjured them up for me.

Not entirely coincidentally, I was asked the Thursday after sushi Tuesday to give an hour of styling advice in a pop-up store that the people from Omoda had set up for a week. Again, sushi, a lot of cute girls, and especially shoes. A lot of shoes. From Michael Kors to Ugg and Armani Jeans. I didn't know that Omoda had so many labels.

In between advising (which was really fun, because all the girls came in their prettiest outfits to the store) I peeked around and thought about which pair would be mine… I think it will be those denim blue Armani Jeans pumps. Or those gladiator sandals from SuperTrash. Or those slip-ons from Omoda itself. Or all of them. I don't care, I have that fifty euro credit anyway and with the right shoes, the world is at your feet after all.
