GENIUS GOES DUTCH

Earlier this year, I wrote a post about the beauty app Genius by L’Oréal. It's absolutely amazing. You don't have to spend hours in front of the mirror trying out a look, because the app shows you how the look would look in real life within seconds. Extra fun is that you can go for pre-programmed looks. For example, you can copy the red carpet look of Lara Stone, Doutzen or Natasha Poly, it gives Linda Tol you daring cat eyes and makeup artist Hildo gives you the perfect smokey eyes. It's ideal. You take a photo of yourself and the look is projected onto you. If you’re a fan, you buy the products, and if you’re not a fan, you scroll on to the next look.

Recently, there’s also some Dutch pride among the looks. For example, I had to put together a cool outfit with my team in the PL-Line store. And we won.” there's a mommy look that is quite handy if you don’t have a lot of time but still want to be the prettiest woman on the schoolyard and Sophia Tienstra it gives you the best look and tools to take a catchy selfie, because yes, she can do it like no one else. Maaike Dorsteen from Furrow and Debbie Zwiers from Beautyscene also give you a look.

You’re probably wondering where I’ve been. So am I. I really hope that a hair feature will be added soon because you understand that I would then immerse you in the world of nude beauty and perfect buns. L’Oréal, what are you waiting for?
