No high tea, but high wine.

Sunday is a perfect day for high wine. Very simple, high tea but then with wine. Small dishes with a matching glass of grape juice. Very nice to do with friends, but also perfect for a date I think. You will definitely be a little tipsy (I think you want that too, right?), because you taste many different wines mixed together. Perfect to end the week with, it seems to me. Start early, because then you are just fresh again on Monday. I will give you the nicest places for such a luxury high tea.

One of my favorite places in the city. You also get here very nice explanations about the dish and the wine. Take a nice seat by the fireplace and it feels like you are abroad for a moment. Do make a reservation.

IIn this restaurant you can even have a high beer. Four dishes combined with a good glass of wine. I really think this place is something for with friends. Lots of pink, lots of bows, and friendly ladies in the service.

This is really a very relaxed place where anything goes. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, a little chilling on a couch, studying quietly, meeting, high tea-ing and thus high wining.

If you live in the south or happen to be there, Harbour Club is very nice for a glass of wine and a matching dish. There is a mega long bar where you can sit with two. I always find eating at a bar very cozy. You can see well which bottle is being opened and how the dishes are prepared.

This is a very nice wine bar where you can also enjoy a glass alone. If you choose a high wine, you get five different dishes. They have very cozy corners with sofas and particularly nice staff. There is also a large terrace for when summer comes.
