Have you been to the Parade yet? Summer's old familiar theater and food festival. I look forward to this festival every year because it has a homely atmosphere. And that's quite impressive, considering it has been discovered by everyone in recent years and most people only go there for the delicious sangria and less for the entertaining and often humorous performances. A shame in itself, because that makes the Parade so unique. Good for me, because otherwise the lines would be even longer. This is the last Parade weekend and then we have to wait another year for the fun. So I'm going to enjoy it in full regalia, but in a comfy outfit.
I already know that I'm wearing a gold shirt, so I like to incorporate that into my makeup. That's why I use the gold Phyto-Ombre Glow by Sisley. I keep the rest of my eyes calm because I'm in the mood for a pink lip. For this, I use the Candy Yum Yum by M.A.C. This doesn't dry out, but stays put and gives a good color payoff. And since I'm going to parade at the Parade all night (sorry, couldn't help it), the color can stand out.
I've been into headbands lately. I find loose hair incredibly sexy, but it can be really annoying if it hangs in your face all night. With such a cute thing as this one from Asos, that's easily solved.
I don't have to think about the lucky shirt I'm going to wear. I have a crush on my new crop top from Boy London: a punky brand from the ’80s, which is currently the trendiest. Carice and Kim FEinstra wore it and it looked really good on them. I find a jumpsuit very Parade-proof, so I'm squeezing into this example one from Zara. I prefer to wear heels, but that's not desirable on an uneven Parade surface, where you're sure to sink in with your heels. So my eyes have fallen on these tough boots.
