So you think that the flu has a grip on you because you rode to the city in a light jacket? Wrong. You have probably fallen prey to all the bacteria that are having a great time in and around your desk.

British Marie Claire wrote about a study that was conducted on the state of bacteria in and around our desks and according to them, it reached ‘revolting levels’.

The pain point is mainly the work surface. Nowadays, we all often and quickly have lunch behind the desk (also known as Cantina Al Desko) and while that may be good for productivity, it certainly doesn't make it any cleaner.

Furthermore, you better walk around the copier with a wide berth, because everyone touches that and no one feels called to clean it.

Another danger lurks in the kettle (ever thought about how many people grab that every day?), the intercom phone, the door handles of the toilets, and of course the mouse of your computer.

It's actually a miracle that we are still alive.
