I often do a city trip and if you combine that with a job as a beauty editor you would think I am the best at packing a toiletry bag. You understand, I understand, but in reality, it turns out just a bit differently. I always try to travel super light and I know exactly which pieces in my wardrobe I should roll up and which trainers weigh the least, but a toiletry bag somehow always causes a doubling of the suitcase and that the zipper of the suitcase never quite closes properly.
Mini's are of course the secret. You can drag along big shampoo bottles of your favorite, but you really won't wash through one liter in a weekend or a week. And also really not that you smear three jars of cream. So stick to the essentials. I find that difficult too, but I have lined up a few brands that you really won't miss those few liter bottles and four jars of cream. In fact, this will be your new addiction and it will make you book even more trips. Because let's be honest, how nice and fun are these products?
