MAN’ICURES AND MAGIC BUNS

A while ago I taught my boyfriend to braid. Of course, we did that a bit secretly and yes, we had to giggle about it together. I can definitely make a little braid myself, but it seemed quite handy if I just had someone at home who could really create a true work of art . And if we ever have daughters, isn't it nice that dad does the better braiding?

Anyway, I told this story with some hilarity to a friend who completely agreed with my story. Her boyfriend was actually the ‘nail painter’ of the couple and managed to provide her nails every week incredibly tight in color . I reacted with disbelief because I could somewhat imagine braiding hair, but I really didn't expect this. Especially since she said it without even conjuring a smile.

But our men have actually been ahead of the trends that are now popping up for months. The man-bun was almost disappearing from the fashion scene, so it needed a significant boost. And then a little braid came into play. At several shows, all the handsome guys walked the catwalk with braids, so let's really keep our fingers crossed and hope that the man-bun now gets an update to man-bunbraid. Although that probably indicates that from now on, it's not me sitting in the chair, but my boyfriend and I are still braiding in the morning.

And my friend will also have to give up her nail spot to her man. Because yes, men also need to get into nail polish. While Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp that did it much earlier, nail polish has now also been spotted on the catwalk at Burberry. Oh lord, I like it, all that vanity among men, but I hope they still stay away from my favorite lipsticks and mascaras.
