What do you eat after your workout

I have already given you some tips about what is good to eat before you start a workout without things coming up during the warm-up. here Now we are going to talk about what you can eat well after a workout . Eating is really one of the most important things if you want to get fit. If you have given your muscles a good workout for an hour, you need to replenish your fuel, and by eating, your muscles also recover faster. That is a must. Your muscles need nutrition to become strong and firm again after exercising. Muscles consume more energy (calories) than fat.

Eating is really one of the most important things if you want to get fit.

By building muscle, you will ultimately lose fat. That's what you want, right? And no, I don't mean that you have to become a bodybuilder. You really won't become one just by hanging around with weights. Alright, let's move on to food. Recovery nutrition is super important. You need carbohydrates and proteins. With the carbohydrates, you replenish your energy level, and you need the proteins for recovery and muscle building. And if you eat well, you also experience less muscle soreness. That's nice, right? I'll give you some ideas:

When you have exercised in the morning or afternoon:

  •  Low-fat yogurt with fruit and nuts
  •  Oatmeal with almond milk and blueberries
  •  A spelt sandwich with grilled vegetables
  •  A smoothie with coconut water, pineapple, cucumber, ginger, spinach, and avocado.

When you have exercised in the evening:

  • A piece of grilled chicken with sweet potato from the oven
  • Grilled salmon (lots of good fats and proteins) with vegetables and quinoa
  • Make your own hummus with lots of vegetables to dip in that hummus
  • An omelet with lots of vegetables. I often put three egg whites and one yolk in the pan. Yep, I throw away the other yolks...
