5 WAYS TO MAKE YOUR WORKPLACE AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL
And then work much more productively
Now you still have plenty of time to enjoy the weekend, but tomorrow we will get back to work. And go ahead and put a bucket, a trash bag, and some nice accessories from your home by the door, because the first hour of the workday you can spend on organizing your workspace. Because yes, a tidy desk leads to more productivity, and your boss will benefit when you give your little desk an upgrade. There, you've justified that right away. Here's how to do it:
1. Clear the clutter
A sweet note from a colleague? A receipt from lunch? A stray ribbon and a button that has popped off your dress?
All perfectly fine, but what are you doing with it? Absolutely nothing. So off it goes, straight from your desk to the trash can. You'll see that your table suddenly looks enormous. tidy And then you have space to collect those new little things again.
2. Paper parade
On average, I receive ten press releases a day, and they all stack up neatly. At some point, however, you realize that this isn't very handy and that you can't find that one important piece of paper anymore. Organize things a bit. For example, use boxes: one for job applications, another for press releases, and yet another for those nice notes from colleagues from point 1.

3. Accessories
There are I don't know how many accessories for sale for your desk. But honestly; do you really use them? No. So throw all those Bic pens overboard and invest in one nice pen. And do you really need a calculator? That's fine too. Then buy a really nice one instead of that plastic thing you'd rather be rid of. If you have nice accessories on your desk, you'll want to keep your desk tidy to showcase all that beauty.
4. Accessories 2.0
A plant is handy for the oxygen level. If you do end up in a four o'clock slump, the plant provides some calm. And if the workload is extremely high, that plant also helps with concentration and stress reduction. Super handy. And what also works well is a nice candle. Preferably a scented candle. Very motivating.
5. Light
Do you work in a greenhouse or do you work in a bunker? Light is very important, wherever you are. It gives you energy. You can imagine that working in the dark all day only makes you more tired. And going to work full of energy is then not an option. So make sure to have a nice lamp, then you'll stay alert.
Can't get enough of it? Here also a bit of inspiration for the nicest workplaces. Your boss probably won't mind if you stay a few hours longer at work because you enjoy it there more than at home.
