6 x why you need to have the short little cowboy boot

Imagine, imagine that the extremely unpleasant and extremely unfair situation arose that you could only buy one pair of shoes this summer. Because you have spent all your money on something nonsensically sensible like a house, for example. Or because you are getting married. In that case, I hereby give you permission to buy two pairs of shoes. One pair ultra-feminine for under your dress and this. Even though it would be incredibly 2016 to get married in these shoes. What am I talking about? The cowboy boot. And especially the short one. You must, want, and will have it, and here's why.

1. They are comfortable

Look, now my sneaker friends are also immediately on board. And so am I. Because I shout the loudest of everyone that I ‘just walk easily on heels’ and more of that nonsense, ultimately a Jimmy Choo or a Louboutin is of course pure torture. And the cowboy boot is not.

2. Sneaker comfort, heel allure

The short cowboy boot has a heel of about five centimeters. And it has a wide surface. That's why your butt gets the lift of a Loub but your toes don't crack. And you can easily sprint to that last table on the terrace in the sun.

”And you can easily sprint to that last table on the terrace in the sun”

3. You don't sink

Did you read Renske's story about her shoe misery? First, she brought a cold sore as an unexpected accessory on her first day at work , then she got stuck with her amazing Gucci's, between the planks of our back terrace . I have that kind of situation so often. I’m just struggling and toiling on my heels, and suddenly my shoes get stuck. Have you ever seen Scooby-Doo? Then you have an idea of how I look at such a moment..

4. They go with everything

Ideal shoe for a weekend away, because they go with every outfit. Under your jeans, your floral summer skirt, your short denim shorts, and yes, especially under the negligé-inspired long evening dress.

5. Your calves look slim

If you are somewhat Dutch in terms of calves, then a very fine shoe doesn't make it any better. It's smarter to choose something chunkier that falls nicely wide around your calf, then you suddenly look like a little Kate Moss, bet?

6. He likes them too

Not that we really care about what he thinks, but if he is also happy with them, that's just a nice bonus, right?
