7 BEAUTY HACKS FOR PACKING YOUR TOILETRY BAG

Then you'll have much more space left for your summer wardrobe

With your toiletry bag you want to be done as quickly as possible. And that can be quite problematic, because a toiletry bag you take on vacation weighs an average of about six kilos due to the liters sunscreen that you silently push in, the full bottles of shampoo, and makeup bags just in case. That can be faster. That can be easier. Then you have plenty of space in your suitcase for a good summer wardrobe and your mind is completely clear to think about the coolest eateries, the tastiest cocktails, and the planning of all vacation days.

Cream in a straw

No unnecessary full bottles of day cream, foundation or anything else? Ha, handy solution: fill a plastic straw with the cream you want. Seal the ends with a lighter and label it with a piece of tape. Enough for a day of care and much lighter than all those glass jars.

Eyeshadow to go

Don't want to take huge eyeshadow palettes because you're afraid they'll break or because they're just too heavy? Grab some cotton swabs and dip them generously in the eyeshadow. Then store them in a plastic bag and you have enough to powder your eyes for a week.

Bobby pins

They always flutter around your entire toiletry bag. Or through your suitcase when your toiletry bag has popped open (believe me: I speak from experience). The solution: bobby pins in a Tic Tac box. Then you can take them out one by one. And put them back in when you feel like it.

Contact lens case

Taking large jars of day and night cream? What a waste, because you won't use it all. Put some blobs in a contact lens case. In the left compartment for the day, in the right compartment for the night. You'll have more than enough for a week and it saves quite a bit of weight.

Jewelry hassle

Dragging your entire jewelry box along is of course not necessary. But to ensure that your jewelry doesn't get tangled, thread the necklaces through straws, the earrings through buttons, and put the rings in a pillbox. Then you'll go out on the boulevard looking very glamorous and won't spend an hour untangling everything.

Tired eyes?

Do you already know it's going to be a festive vacation? You don't really need to stock up on full bottles of concealer, because highlighter works pretty well in the summer too. It reflects the light under your eyes and makes you look much more awake.

Powder

Afraid your powder compacts will break on vacation? Then put a cotton pad in there, that acts as a kind of bumper so the compact doesn't break. If it does break, I'll refer you to read this post. A pizza is the solution.
