Did Jay Z really cheat?
Is there anything else to read this morning? There is quite a bit of drama going on between Beyoncé, Jay Z, and a beautiful designer named Rachel Roy. What has happened? The facts laid out for you:
Fact 1: Beyoncé launches new album
It all started this weekend with the new surprise album ‘Lemonade’ from Queen B. And come on: after hearing these lyrics, we can definitely say that Jay Z clearly cheated:
– “Looking at my watch, he shoulda been home / Today I regret the night I put that ring on / He always got them fucking excuses.”
– “My daddy warned me about men like you / He said, “Baby girl, he’s playing you.”
– “It’s such a shame, you let this good love go to waste.”
– “Who the fuck do you think I am? You ain’t married to no average bitch, boy.”
– And then this is the line that it all revolves around; Beyoncé sings in one of the lyrics that ‘someone’ cheated with ‘Becky with the good hair’. Remember that last line.
Fact 2: The elevator incident
Do you remember the half-fight in the elevator where Solange attacked her brother-in-law? There were already rumors that Beyoncé's sister hit and kicked Jay Z because he openly flirted with a designer named Rachel Roy during the Met Gala.
Fact 3: ‘Becky with the good hair’ strikes back
A few minutes after Beyoncé put her album online, a very coincidental photo appeared on Rachel Roy's Instagram account with the text: ‘Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens.’
Fact 4: Becky with the good hair gets completely roasted on Instagram
Don’t mess with Queen B, that much is clear. Her fans immediately search for Rachel Roy on Instagram and tear her apart.

Fact 5: Rachel Roy takes the photo offline
Not so smart, huh, messing with Beyoncé's massive army.
Fact 6: Rachel sets her page to private
But the Beyoncé fans are not done with her yet and take her Wikipedia page into their own hands. Rachel Roy is now called ‘Rachel Rat’.
Now I am an extreme Beyoncé fan (read here about that one time I got to interview her), but I find this intense. First of all: why does all this relationship drama have to be discussed out in the open? Sit on the couch with a glass of wine and talk to each other, for God's sake, like adults. And Beyoncé fans: if Jay really flirted with a Rachel, then isn’t he the one to roast on Instagram?
What I find very dubious and immediately fact number 7: Bey's new album is only available on Tidal. Yes, that is Jay Z's music service. Please tell me we are not talking about a sick form of publicity here, right? People, seriously, go to couples therapy.
