THE GREAT STEP ADVENTURE OF MAY
To get me to the gym more often, I received a subscription from OneFit sent to me. That's a card that allows you to visit almost all gyms in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht for a month.
This makes it easier to check out another gym without being tied to an annual subscription right away. Ideal. And if you now become a member of H&M Club (which is free), you also get a Onefit subscription for the first month with a 50% discount..
After a yoga class in tropical temperatures (just read how it was) I decided to go for an old-fashioned step class again. Of all the trends in the gym that I have embraced (do you remember Callanetics and aerobics, where have they gone?), only step is still occasionally found on a class schedule.
“Of course, I put an extra block under my step, because hey, I could do this.”
I was looking forward to it again, an old-fashioned step session. Exercises like an around-the-world, a Y-step, and the basic step with a turn.
So I went to a new style step class in my new H&M sports outfit and of course, I put an extra block under my step, because hey, I could do this.
The teacher advised me to remove all the blocks so that I could concentrate on the choreography. Because nowadays, all kinds of salsa and mambo moves have been added to it.
I will spare you all the embarrassing details, but I'm going back next week. Although at the back and without extra blocks, but I have the taste for it. Because from this class, I was able to draw an important conclusion. Time to step again!
