#6 SUMMER CHIQUE
BE THE PERFECT WEDDING GUEST
In the coming four weeks, we will prepare you completely for the wedding season. Four amazing looks for future brides and four looks for the most important guest, so you can give the dress code even more allure. Because there's no need to blush slightly when seeing a dress code. Yes, okay, maybe it's a bit of a hassle to find the outfits (although Lil will help you out ), but you don't have to worry about your hair at all. We have The Building for that.
This week we are in the theme of Summer Chique. Lovely Stephanie is getting married soon in Amsterdam. Think of flowy dresses, a summery feel (the sun will definitely shine), and extremely handsome guests. Stephanie brought her friend and colleague Ge-ann along. And braid queen Melissa from The Building wanted to make that cheerful Ge-ann a worthy guest on her friend's big day. Just see if that worked out, and you'll also immediately see how to create the look and how you can get everything sorted yourself.
Step 1: Prep
Even as a bridesmaid, you want your hair to stay perfectly styled all day long. No hassle with sagging, no hassle with keeping the pins in place... You just want to not have to worry about anything. So prep your hair the right way. Make the hair a bit stiffer with a salt spray and blow-dry the product well to activate it.
Step 2: Create a parting
Actually a forbidden word at a wedding, but a parting can definitely be discussed in terms of hair. Because especially with this look, a parting is really very important. Make sure it's perfectly straight. Extend the parting all the way down to the bottom of the look.
Step 3: Braid
Create a braid on one side and follow it along the parting. Braid all the way down to the neck and secure the end with a bobby pin. No hassle with elastics, and it stays just as well.
Step 4: Blow-dry
Now blow-dry the hair nicely into shape. Go for lots of volume, and take a spritz of hairspray to really keep everything in place.
Step 5: Curling iron
For the final step, grab the curling iron. Use a large curling iron for a messy blending in the hair. The smaller the iron, the more fiddly and fussy it becomes, and that just doesn't suit this look very well.
Now you can definitely practice on the most beautiful look yourself, but do you want to be sure that your hair is really perfect on the day itself? Then you should visit The Building. They transformed these ladies into enchanting princesses, maids of honour, and the most handsome guests of the day. And then you are guaranteed the coolest look and literally have no worries on your mind.
