Anyone who knows me a little can sketch my Monday look. It’s been a dress (with sleeves, which saves a layer of clothing) for years now and a good shoe. Such a power suit is my ideal uniform and immediately gets me out of my lazy weekend haze, but it’s also easy enough to throw on in one motion, allowing me to spend at least seven precious minutes in a horizontal position.

A sturdy stocking underneath and a good shoe, that really completes the look. Today I’m wearing a dress from DKNY that I bought at Net-a-Porter and it’s such a hit that Jet has already bought it in two colors, I believe. I bought my pumps at Omoda.nl. Ordered before nine in the evening, delivered tomorrow, how ideal is that? Moreover, you can return them for free in case you change your mind. Of course, I didn’t do that. I find this pair from Peter Kaiser, made of suede, far too beautiful for that. Together with my dress, I’m wearing three shades of gray and that seems more than sufficient for Monday morning…
