MAKE-UPMOVE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON

From workwear look to party queen in 5 minutes

Normally, we can easily create a smokey eye and put a nice curl in our hair, but tonight is the (champagne included), I was exhausted on Saturday and still dead tired on Sunday. So I took Monday off and it was quite a party. I had slept in that weekend, so on that Monday I got up pretty early (half past 9) and did whatever I felt like all day.. So you know there will be some flashlights, photographers are on your neck, and you'll be confronted with the photos for a year. So just to be safe, we let ourselves be done up. No smiles, no visible hairpins, and no worries. You might not have a award show but you do have a terrible need for the Friday afternoon drink. It's also nice to go all out a bit and kick off the weekend shining. We will make sure of that. With these tips, you can transform your daily work look beauty-wise into the party queen for the weekend in five minutes.

Eyeliner

Time: 1.5 minutes
If your base is a bit natural, you can make the first easy adjustment by applying an eyeliner . You can simply use a black pencil that you smudge a bit, or a sharp line that you extend further. You can also put some black pencil in your eye (on the waterline), which outlines your eye a bit more. Be sure to include the inner corner of your eye. Whatever you do, your eye will definitely become more expressive.

Glowy effect

Time: 30 seconds
Where you might have tried hard to keep everything as matte as possible in the morning, you can now have a bit more shine. This can easily be done by spreading a drop of Nuxe or a glowy serum (Giorgio Armani has very good ones) over your face. You don't have to immerse yourself in gold, but if you choose a subtle glow, you'll radiate more from all sides.

Shimmer

Time: 1 minute
A bit of shine and glitter, you're certainly not averse to that at a drink or party. Opt for a light shimmer eyeshadow. You can easily apply it with your fingertip over the moving eyelid. But also sneakily include the spots above the eyebrow, your cheekbones, the cupid's bow, and the bridge of your nose.

Eyebrows

Time: 1.5 minutes
The brows may be a bit understated on a workday, but in the evening they can definitely be made a bit bolder. Especially extend them. That opens up the face and makes it even more elegant. For a killer brow, then apply some concealer on a cotton swab with which you draw a sharp line above and below against the extended brow. This way you have 2 in 1: a highlight plus a super cool sharp brow.

The lips

Time: 30 seconds
A few weeks ago, I was at the Dior counter, where May was beautifully made up. I stood by and watched, and I thought it was fantastic. But I couldn't walk out the door without the lady from Dior touching up my lips. “You should never leave the house without colored lips,” was said. During the day, you might choose a safe color and stick to the nude palette, but in the evening you can go all out. Let your lips do the talking!
