There aren't often apples on my desk. They either get eaten, or they sit there so long that they become all bruised and lose their beautiful red color. But now, there is an apple on my desk that can definitely stay longer and occasionally a spray over the editorial office dozes. Dior has a new fragrance: Poison Girl.
The nose of Dior, François Demachy, is not idle. Last year it delivered us the divine men's fragrance Sauvage , and then it got to stick its nose into the Poison family. It follows the creative fragrances Pure Poison, Poison Tendre, Hypnotic Poison, and Midnight Poison. You understand: a rediscovery was needed to wrap all that in a new package.
You probably know Poison. But for those who have never stuck their little nose in the bottle, I will give a short refresher course. It is an exciting fragrance that reminds you of a difficult riddle, something sensual, and something that actually shouldn't be. Shocking, that's actually the right word. The name is therefore not chosen randomly. Since 1985, something from the Poison family cansit on your bathroom shelf and that will surely evoke quite a few nostalgic memories.
Now a new sister has been born: Poison Girl. That sounds a bit young, but it is not. It is an incredibly exciting women's fragrance with the challenge and shocking effect in its genes. So if you're up for a bit of tension, this fragrance is perfect for you. With the slogan “I am not a girl, I am poison,” it is of course not intended to smell medicinal. No, nose Demachy has worked hard to keep the mysterious element in it, but to wrap it all in a bittersweet package. That bittersweet package is a combination of orange that is quite fruity. This is combined with the ingredients tonka bean, vanilla, and woody notes. Through the mix of all that, it becomes a very warm and sensual fragrance with a spicy detail.
Poison Girl is therefore aexciting, sensual fragrance with which you clearly make your mark somewhere. You don't have to be afraid of going through life as a wallflower, no, you are allowed to be there. This apple will therefore not fade away on your desk, on your body, or anywhere else, this apple will always remain and it shows.
