RENSKE AND THE SEARCH FOR THE PERFECT SANDALS IN THE SALE

It is very important that I have sandals this summer. And for the following very obvious reasons.

1. Sandals are hot and happening.

2. Sandals are not high.

3. You can't make an emergency clap when you're wearing sandals, unless you really are lame , but that's your own problem.

4. I think I'm going to feel very French in sandals.

5. There is a sale. And the word sale looks like the word sandals, just with a few letters off.

Okay, back to the essence of this piece: sandals. So I've been rummaging around for hours, what am I saying: days, stuffing shoes into baskets. Here I share my current top 5 (although the order changes daily). Nice, right? But woe to you if I see you walking in them.

1. These suede sandals from Gianvito Rossi are probably my favorites, because how can brown suede sandals not be your favorite?

2. Check these sandals from Isabel Marant: I've seen them come by several times in drool-worthy fashion series and I always had a panic attack when I looked at the price. But now they are UNDER five hundred euros and then I just have breathing difficulties when I look at the price and that's still a win.

3. NO, these beautiful sandals from Alexander McQueen are not on sale, but what hasn't happened yet, can still come. I'm telling you: this is the new cool. You can all deposit money, my account number is known to the editorial team.

4. These Isa's are just so ridiculously cool, ten to one that I will be mistaken for a designer, model, or photographer in these shoes. Right? Or not? Maybe not. Doesn't have to be! No one can take me down!

5. Or should I take these Laurence Dacade sandals? Those straps! That heel! Just right. And so wonderfully international. And I really want to be international. Or at least French. Well, that will surely work with these sandals. I'm taking them.
